Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
Ooh boy, it's been a long time since i've seen this movie. And it's great as the first time i saw it. First the cons. Audrey II's performance is outstanding. His animatronic (i think he is an animatronic) is made good and at the same time disturbing. The actor who played it deserves a medal. Rick Moranis is also played his character outstanding. Steve Martin was also funny and disturbing, and kinda reminded me of Freaky Fred because well they both have similar professions. And i hated the woman (which name i do not know) because she always talked with an ssss. She looks like a creeper dammit. Oh and is the acters voice like that or is she following the script?

Overall i enjoyed this movie and i'm gonna give it a: 3.5/5

The Woman in Black

...well damn. I've never been so terrified of a movie that's PG-13. But it was a Hammer film, and the whole concept of the film was strong, so I guess it wasn't much of a surprise. A good film definitely. See it if you haven't and are a fan of real horror. It's some scary shit. And Harry Potter is in it! :) Four bottles of lye out of a possible fibe

there are even similarities of this movie with cloverfield, new york city, people getting sick(creatures coming out of the people, in this movie however, people just get sick and die)
interesting note, one of the co-stars was: Lee Van Cleef from the good the bad and the ugly...
EDIT: finished watching it and he is the guy with the rifle at the end of the movie that shoots the radioactive isatobe into the creature, then it dies.. to bad that trick wont work on some of the monsters here. 8-) :?
I have seen the movie several times and never have i seen this actor in it...
how can he be in a movie without clint eastwood?

The Ape Man- This one was kind of a stinker. Lugosi's performance in it was good, but the plot itself just wasn't as good.

Horror Hotel- aka The City of the Dead. Pretty great film, I loved the climatic ending. I heard they were going to remake this, might be something to look forward to.

I have to say I disagree a little, not that you're "wrong" or anything. NYC is a parallel, true, but then again NYC is the Tokyo of America. Monsters always show up there, as did Godzilla (98), Godzilla in DAM, King King (well, brought there), etc. People in Cloverfield don't get infected with disease(s) from the giant monster as they do from the monster in BF20KF. The parasites bite the people and whatever happens to the insides is unknown but people's insides rupture. Very different.

I like both movies a lot though.

The Devil's Hand- A bit boring, it had some interesting parts, but it's a little too slow for my taste. I'll probably enjoy the Rifftrax version better.

A Bucket of Blood (1959)- I really liked this one. It reminds me a lot of the original Little Shop of Horrors. Which makes sense, since this is also from Roger Corman and was only made a year before Little Shop. So really Little Shop is just a retelling of this film but with a plant instead of sculptures. Dick Miller's performance was good too. This is a really fun film, and I heard there's a musical for it too.

Haven't reviewed any movies I've seen in a while so here we go ...

White Wall (2010)
A movie set up with a good if unoriginal premise turns out to be atrocious in every way. I'm still trying to figure out if there truly was an actual plot. I'm still trying to figure out if there truly were any "actors" in this movie. I'm still trying to figure out why this 2010 production has a full screen picture. One wonders how they viewed this movie and though "Yeah, this is good enough. It's completed." What a piece of trash. The only reason I'm not giving this a 1/10 is because the main character actually knows what he's doing in the fight scenes (which are too few and far between anyways). As a sci-fi fan and post-apocalyptic fan, I am disappoint.

Alien Apocalypse- Not one of Sci-Fi Channel's best. The acting was pretty bad, the plot was typical, and the CGI was low. Only good things about it is Bruce Campbell and some of the puppets used in close up shots.

Battle of Los Angeles- This one stunk bad. I didn't care much for Battle: Los Angeles, but this one was so much worst. Unfollowable plot, cheesy action scenes, lame characters. Yeah, typical Asylum stuff.

Anonymous (2011)
Having wanted to see this since it came out in theaters months ago, I tried to come into this with a particularly open mind. Overally, Emmerich did a pretty good job with this movie, especially considering he hasn't done this sort of a movie before. Of note, you may find it a little boring and stuffy if you're not into politically charged drama such as this. But in spite of that, the acting is top notch, the story moves along very well, and boy did they ever do a nice job of making the viewer believe he/she was actually looking at England circa-1600.

Just finished Midnight in Paris. I thought Owen Wilson filled in Woody Allen's acting shoes quite admirably and especially enjoyed this particular film, having studied '20s American literature.

I saw the Beast of 2000 Fathoms last night for the first time. Now I know where they got the idea for Mega Shark VS Giant Octopus!
