^When have Bay's flicks have been pushed back other than this one ? I could see this one being pushed back with the second part to the HOBBIT hitting theaters December 2013. Besides, Paramount has been having a little trouble on their flicks lately. G.I. Joe:Retaliation and World War Z have been shoved back with all sorts of behind the scenes problems the studio has been dealing with.

They made a big mistake against putting up against Marvel's new film coming out that weekend.

Got three pieces of turtles related news for you guys:

- it appears IDW is going to start reprinting all the old mirage stuff in color after all, issue by issue as a preview for issue two is online. Gonna probably start buying these in issue form and then eventually the trade.

- Season Ten IS coming to DVD AND it's going to have a bonus of having the missing episodes that were excluded from the previous set!!! :D Yep, once before a time machine and planet of the turtleoids is on it!

-Oh and if  any of you guys are interested, IDW is reprinting the old Archie turtles comics too. There's already a volume two on amazon but the down side is these books are like four issues a trade. Maybe IDW will increase the content level a little OR they might just make an omnibus out of them similarly how they did with doctor who classics maybe. They're doing it with ghostbusters, so I don't see why not.

Also another bonus tidbit I learned: Kevin Eastman, one of the original co-creators of TMNT and the writer of IDW's AWESOME new turtles series is... Writing the script for the movie, or at least co-writing it.

Watch the new film get overshadow by the hype of the upcoming Marvel 2014 film. Paramount should have pick a better release date and I won't be surprise if the movie bombs.

Are you really doubting the brand name of the turtles? Are you REALLY doing that? Will it do better that day or worst? Who can tell as its all up in the air really, might be good might be bad but since they're marketing it too kids now... Probably turtles has a good chance now plus it's you know the turtles AND their 30th anniversary too that year.

I wonder if the Easter episode will be included since it has to do with Once Upon a Time Machine?

It's great they're going to finally release those. I was wondering if they forgot them.

I think it's great that they're re-releasing the older comics so I can get pick them up since I missed them the first time.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

I'm pretty sure it's still on there as I'm told the two I mentioned are the only ones that were missing and I do recall hearing the sequel episodes are on DVD too.

And I myself may check the Archie stuff too as Irate Gamer's video on them did interest me a bit. I think after season ten is out, I'm going to start buying the series on DVD. Hopefully the 03 series will be next to have the proper completement treatment.

Marvel's movies have a bigger target audience, putting against a Marvel Studio film is going to have the movie get over shadowed. I imagine it's going to be like what happen with Battleship where the movie got over shadowed by The Avengers hype.

Okay, you have the choice of my left hand or my right hand to get smacked with. The left is covered in spiked and the spikes are coated with salt. The right hand is on fire, your choice.

Hehehe, but still no... Just no. Thinking the turtles will bomb is dumb. Will whatever Marvel film gross more money then the turtles? Possibly, depends on the hype train and how either do. If we got a sequel to something, then probably it'll be in favor to Marvel but if it's a new movie then it's anyone's game. And chances are it WON'T be battleship cause that movie was just stupid, while turtles being aliens being an almost as stupid idea might turn out to be a good film or an enjoyable one at least. Don't doubt the power of the turtles as they're popular all these years for a reason.

Sooo...The film is postponed because good ol Bay wanted to make the Turtles origins deal that they are from outer space? O.o
Rebooting a franchise is fine and all, but really that's taking things waaay too far. Hell GINO may not have been good but at least the origin for its own Godzilla was similar to Toho's own Godzilla.

The style for the new show looks awful. I'm starting to hate the art style that a lot of newer cartoons have been using in the past few years since Clone Wars.

Im upset that Archie didnt reprint the TMNT Adventures books from Vol. 2 and on (TMNT Adventures started with a 3 part miniseries). Shocked IDW is doing it. TMNT Adventures comics are dirt cheap on eBay up to issues 50 then theyre high (issue 65-72 can go for $50-$100 each). I got them all so TPBs wouldnt do anything for me.

Unless they reprint ALL the Might Mutanimals in TPB.

EDIT:
BTW TMNT Aventures issues 1-13 I think we're reprinte in Archie Comics TMNT Adventures Digest format. Good luck finding them. Theyre rare.

Now with GL when you said that, the cgi look I disagree as that turned out great BUT OH MY GOD DO I AGREE FULL HEARTEDLY WITH YOU!!! I HAAAAATE the CGI look now and this looks very unfunny and I fear this may be another ultimate spider-man. :(

But on a lighter and more uplifting note after that crud, I finally started reading Mirage's TMNT comics and I'm on the Raphael micro-book or whatever it's called and while I didn't like issue three that much, I'm loving the comics and now I'm probably going to start buying them all! From the ultimate collections, to the classics series which will contain the issues not written by the Kevin or Peter, to probably buying the eventual trade collecting IDW's new colored version of the comics which I will be buying in issue form as well. Ahh... These are good and I might even start reading the Archie series, just wish the trades weren't four issues a piece.

Oh and I'm going to continue watching the original series now, having gained a new tolerance for cheesy/silly shows and I'll be checking out the probably superior 03 series again too. :huge:

I watched the trailer for the new show. It doesn't seem too bad, it looks like the 80s cartoon, which I like, it was more funny than the 2003 cartoon. The animation looks like a GameCube game, and I have no idea why Donnatello has a missing tooth. It's still better than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3.

So fans of the Archie comic series, I might have some news for you. Last week I was at my local comic looking for my list of comics which sadly I was only able to find Garfield #1 and Popeye #1 but while I found Garfield, I noticed there was Archie's TMNT comics and they looked new. Maybe they're re-releasing them?

Didnt you just say eariler that IDW was re-releasing the Archie's TMNT Adventures in TPB form?

EDIT:
http://www.nick.com/shows/ninja-turtles

New little bit of the series on the website's main page.

The animation seems a bit clearner since the original trailer 3 weeks ago. It looks.... better then the CGI for GL:AS (which I hate with an undying passion). Im actually VERY excited now to see it.

The theme song is neat too. I good upgdate from the 1987 series.

Also, you poor DirectTV bastards (btw you dont save money with DirectTV over BrightHouse per month after the 6 month promo), you better hope DirectTV comes to some terms because right now, Nick is off the air for DirectTV subscribers.

Looks like Jessica Biel wants to play April O'Neil in the upcoming film.
