Just finished watching the new episode. Shane has finally died, but that is the least of the groups problems. The season finale of The Walking Dead will be a BLAST. Hands down the best show AMC has to offer.

I loved it, and finally dammit. SHANE IS DEAD. I was waiting for that since the beginning of the series, I can hardly wait for the finale... or the 3rd season

So, the zombie plague of doom now just turns anyone who dies (possibly, not 100% sure obviously). A little twist, not like it is really going to change much in the group though.

Indeed, that scene were Shane comes back as a zombie was kinda scary, at least Carl finished him off.

You know the kid that was suppose to executed by rick, he mention he was with these group of people. Maybe he is one of the survivors at the prison or he stays with "The Governer" and his people. I don't know if thats accurate or not? What do you think?

I think it's gonna be the governor's group. Why would they even bring the group up without doing anything with it later on?

That was bullshit. Carl should have shot the real, live Shane. That completely misses the point. I'll watch the next ep to finish this season but after that I'm done.

The show is good for what it is. A Zombie/Action/Drama its not going to be a "Screen by Screen adaptation
like the Comic. It needs to be diferent from the Comic (But also not that quite). Ok now on to the Episode:
SPOILERS SPOILERS, Well Shane finally died something that much of us either expected,wanted,bitched about but
getting stabbed by Rick and shot by Carl (which from what i heard of the comic it was different) but he got killed
either way.
I like how now the Survivors can turn to a Walker by just dying or maybe dying while being wounded perhaps.
When Shane was "Turning" i didnt expect the Walkers in The Tv and it scared me a little bit.
And the Ending with all of those walkers coming...Holy Crap. Next episode is going to be awesome.

I disagree. It only would have made sense if Shane was the same character in the show as he was in the comic. It makes more sense that Rick had to kill him in the show. Consider the amount of development given to the relationship and rivalry between Rick and Shane. It is far more fitting that Rick took him down in the show as opposed to a desensitized Carl. Granted, he still had no problem shooting zombified Shane in the show, which probably says he's going to continue his development the same way he did in the comic.

Every other episode = How mediocre the series is compared to the first episode


It frustrates me to no end that this should could be truly skreeonk brilliant, yet it falls flat when doing it. It's so boring. It's like a soap opera with an occasional zombie. And no, i'm not complaining about the lack of zombies... I'm complaining about how the time used without zombies in it is used poorly. Took 6 damn episodes to find a girl we already knew was dead.

It frustrates me to no end that this should could be truly skreeonk brilliant, yet it falls flat when doing it. It's so boring. It's like a soap opera with an occasional zombie. The first episode is honestly one of the best pieces of television I've ever seen. It was emotional, witty at times, tension filled, and yes kind of scary. The second season has been such a snooze fest with little to no plot advancement across the board. There are also some people, myself at times as well, who are annoyed at how far its strayed from the comics. Did you know that Dale survives about another 40 issues after his death in this series? Just little things like that.

Wow. Just wow. The second part of season 2 was fantastic and the finale was a real treat for the fans of the comic. I honestly don't understand the negativity about this show....

Awesome finally. But who the hell was that dude with the sword and the armless walkers chained behind him? Was that a prison they showed in the last shot?

God, I can't wait for the next episode......in fall ugh...

Alright this finale redeemed a lot for this show, and set up season 3 so well. I will be continuing to watch this.
