Finally got around to watching the original and it's pretty great. It and Judgement Day are phenomenal pieces of entertainment, possible thematic and time traveling issues aside. Despite a smaller scope and some dated effects, Terminator's tragic romance plot and horror vibes really make it work. On the other hand, Judgement Day's "boy and his dog" approach and larger than life action are a wonder to behold. James Cameron's duology should have been left alone as none of the sequels live up to the standards set by first and its sequel. People seem to have a difficult time following up on Cameron's works, as the same thing happened with the Alien franchise. Though in that case he is only responsible for Aliens.

I'd honestly be disappointed if the series were to stop (for now) here. The story of Genisys has way too many open ends to service as an end to the series.

Here is where I rank the five movies:

1 > Salvation > 3 > Genesys > 2

I tried watching the TV series on FOX, but by the first fifteen minutes if the first episode I shut it off. Dawn of Fate was a neat prequel game.

I guess we just have to wait and see what Paramount wants to do. It was a domestic flop but performed admirably well overseas, making over $440M (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id ... or2015.htm). In fact it made more outside of the US/Canada than did Godzilla or Pacific Rim, for reference, and was strong in China. They don't really have a ton of time to wait before the rights lapse, as I recall.

I know this is a big bump, but T2 is coming back to theaters this year in 3D. There's a TON of articles on it, as China is already confirmed 100% to be getting it and most everybody is believing it will come here too. I am DEFINITELY going to see it, as I LOVE T2 very much (to the point where I own a ton of copies of it). I'm very excited.
Oh yeah, here's my current collection of copies (8 of em'):

Genisys was amazing, I loved it's plot. I'd rank it third best in series behind T2 and T1.

I think you accidentally broke it as well.

Can't vote.

I just got through watching all of the Terminator films (some for the first time). Fun times, even the lesser entries like Salvation were still pretty interesting. I'd be disappointed if the franchise died with Genisys. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the Sara Conner Chronicles, the action is too lackluster and the characters are worn out- and I'm barely halfway through the series.

Did it lead you to a different error page? It did that to me for a second but when I refreshed it allowed me to vote.

No, it just literally isn't registering my vote.

EDIT: At least I think it isn't. If it is, it ain't doing it right away like it should.

Yeah T1 was great, although I think T2 was better by a tiny bit.

Yeah, I voted for the first one too. It shows the little "x" where I voted, but it's not counting it. Darn poll is rigged.

That's cause T2 is the best, and even TK forums knows it.

I decided to see what would happen if I moved my vote to The Terminator and Genisys lost three votes and my vote didn't register.
Wtf. I'll see if there's an issue somewhere in the poll but if there isn't i'm really confused.

I see
T1 with 0 votes
T2 with 3
and Genisys with 1(My vote)

Gonna try switching from Genisys to T2.

I think you should remove the entire poll from the Thread and than make a new one, since this Poll seems completely bugged and changing the titles or voting for something else does not seem to be working.
