I don't think neither the Funimation (pre-kai) and Ocean dub where any good. I never liked any of the Ocean voices expect for Vegeta and Zarbon, Funimation (pre-kai) dub has better voice acting but I never like the stupid humor and changes that Funimation does. I always hated how people treat Funimation's as the main English dub and base everything based off of it (One reason why I hate the Dragon Ball wiki).

From what I've seen from Funimation's dub of Kai is that they try to stay closer to the subs but I really don't like #18 and Gohan's new voice at all. I always wanted to see Harmony Gold's dub of Dragon Ball because it sounds so bad  .

Looks like a full length DB animated movie comes out next March in Japan.

I will look forward to it until I see the official trailer for it.

This certainly sounds promising... 5 bucks says they'll somehow manage to shoehorn Broly into the movie, either by appearance or reference... I wouldn't mind it, but I am kinda hoping they do something new and exciting...

It been stated that Toriyama might be heavily involved with the script. If he is apart of the writing then I doubt Broly will be apart in the film given that he is a Toei creation.

Question: is that dragon ball movie 4 pack contain all of dragon ball's movies?

I never liked Sailor Moon and I hated it as a kid. If they made a official crossover then I doubt I will watch it. I did like the One Piece crossover with DB though.

The Dragon Ball movies, yes. It has none of the Z movies.

Awesome, thanks. :D

So, I've been watching dragon ball lately the series I said that was better then Z and so far 6 or 7 episodes in, yeah this is a very fun show. I know I'm very early in the show right now but I must say it is really good and I love it, though I will say since I knew some of this prior to watching the season set, some jokes even for the uncut version are changed.

Like take this for example: it's the second episode, Bulma is taking a bath and Goku is standing there saying he's going to scrub her back because she has no tail. Well in the Japanese version, Goku was commenting about her breasts and saying they looked like butts and Bulma was teaching him how guys like them and babies too. Then something else but something I felt was kind of important was they mentioned Goku's age while in the English version of the scene they don't.

Yeah, it's a nitpick but that's just me. Also seeing the full versions of the songs beginning to end, makes me miss the abridged versions toonami had unless it's been that long since I've seen them and they really are that long.

Althought it's short, the animation looks much better in the trailer

Did anyone besides me notice a distint animation shift between sagas? As soon as Gokou came back from outer space and Trunks appeared the animation got more....pointed. Then with the gap between Gokou's death and Great Saiyaman is became softer and more elongated?

I know that Toriyama's style become more angular after awhile. Apparently, he would become bored of drawing one way and would try another. The change between the roundness of DragonBall and early DBZ and the angular lines of later DBZ is a prime example of such.

Toriyama didn't draw the frames in the anime. Those were all done by animators. In fact, you can see rather jarring changes between episodes in style if you pay attention.

Anyone read Dragon Ball Multiverse? I have been reading it since 2008 and I think the new special is alright. It's a let down compare to the last two that we had but I wish they had Kakarot growing up and how he destroy all life on Earth. I tend to enjoy all of the specials expect for the Bojack one.

I like multiverse but I don't like Vegito choosing Bulma over Chi-Chi and saying Goku and the others have reached an age limit with their power and that they can't bet Frieza in their base forms.

Other than that it's nice. Broly should have used LSSJ3 against Vegito however and it would have been cool to get an Xicor universe so he could fight Vegito.
