I hope they don't change the feel of the original manga. I would be quite angry if they were to do this...
Time to wipe away the shit stains of negativity. This should be awesome.

So I learned that they're dubbing a Dragon Ball film but they're not using the original kid goku's voice.

Upon viewing Freiza's new voice on Kai, it's sort of a mixed bag for me. While forms 2 and 3 sound great and sort of make him sound like a tyrant with class, I don't really like form's one and 4's voices. But I'll eventually adjust to them, I guess.
edit: On second thought, form one of Frieza's voice isn't all that bad.

That's why I think it would be cool to see him and if they made him a good guy like vegeta was in the cell games he could be how goten and mystic gohan orginally were suppose to be.Hellspawn28 wrote:No and never will happen since he is a fan made character. Out all of the fan fictions that he has appear in the past 13 years, he has been the same character and been overused by fans. In Toyble's AF Manga, he is a decent villain but I rather not see him as a official character in the series.

Nappa: Say it chichi, say it.
Chichi: You're a saiyan.
Nappa: OOOHHHH!!! YOU'RE LIKE MY PERSONAL STASH OF HEROINE!
Yes, Nappa is now edward from twilight.
I feel like continuing to watch season 3 of Z, even with the ridiculous ammount of episodes when Namek is suppose to blow up in two minutes.

Re: Offical Dragon Ball Thread
So kai is going to end on.... the cell saga? Okay.... odd seeing how we've got one more saga left but hey, I don't mind that much because the series could of originally ended there and we wouldn't have a problem.
Now what WOULD be cool is that Akira Toriyama finally does his original vision for the buu saga and after it's done being written and drawn, the animation company behind dragon ball z starts work on that. That would be cool.

Because some people might perfer to watch something instead of reading it.Hellspawn28 wrote:Why watch Kai if you can read the whole Manga at home? I never thought Kai was that great and they lied about the whole "No fillers" in Kai.
Now I don't know how much filler is in it, but so far vol 1 had little of it.

Oh. Well, I would let that pass seeing how they needed to explain it plus I believe one of the reasons of kai was to introduce dbz to other audiences.

Then he does appear... under a different name. And that hardly constitutes as filler. >_>Hellspawn28 wrote:King Vegeta was in Kai and he never appear in the manga. In the manga, he is just called "The King" and the Planet was name after their prince from what I can remember.

Re: Offical Dragon Ball Thread
Maybe because we like to watch things? I mean, I'm sure the manga is great, but there's something about watching it on TV that makes it more enjoyable. And besides, the amount of filler is negligible. Like, off the top of my head, there was Ginyu and Bulma. And there's not much wrong with showing King Vegeta, is there? He only appears in like 2 scenes. If anything, it adds more depth to Vegeta's character. :/ Not all filler is bad, you know. And so far, what Kai did keep fits in pretty well.Hellspawn28 wrote:Why watch Kai if you can read the whole Manga at home? I was disappointed by the lack of a new episode on Thursday as well. They could just be trying to create a buffer of new episodes though.

SSJ3 is my least favorite of all SSJ Forms.

I think mystic will protect him that basically his ss3.Hellspawn28 wrote:I would not be surprise if we see SSj3 Gohan next. The reason why we have not seen any What If transformations of SSj4 is because GT is not very popular in Japan at all.

^Oh yeah!? Well, your face is unrealistic! ):<
Right, news to DBZ fans: I was walking through Walmart's DVD section and I noticed they're bow releasing the seasons in two packs. You get this once colossal box that contains the DVDs for the seasons and while nice, I think I'll continue to get the series in single sets, no offense but I don't like the idea of them being in one huge slide box but hey for fans they're only 40 bucks so you decide. They're also doing the same thing with DBZ Kai but it's about 30 bucks.

I agree. I love my Dragon Boxes to death, my second favorite boxsets after the Alien Anthology. I still waiting for Part 5 of Kai to ship next week from RightStuf. I wonder if they're keeping the Kikuchi score or the newly composed Kai music for Part 5 since the TV airings are now having the Kikuchi score.
