I'm leaning this way. No way Disney had someone that clueless around in a meeting this important.

Yeah, it sounds fake, but then again, so does Alan Horn getting spooked by a couple of Red Hats into firing James Gunn without consulting either Iger or Feige, resulting in a circus that lasts for over half a year, with GotG 3 getting delayed, Gunn getting nabbed by WB and put into the writer & director's seat for the sequel-boot to Suicide Squad, and Gunn ultimately getting re-hired. And yet, here we are.

But yeah, sounds fake.

Yeah, I wasn't buying it either but then I found out Horn was behind all that so I'm buying it a bit more.

Still think it's fake tho.

According to this, Sony really came out on top of the new deal with Disney/Marvel.

Tom Holland should have been Spiderman in the mcu and sonyverse from the start. Venom could have easily been in the mcu without making direct connections to the mcu and Disney and Sony would have been good from the start.

It still sounds more believable than this, though.

Anyone else feel like Phase 4 seems kinda...meh?

The only things that really intrigues me are: Blade, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Doctor Strange 2, and Spiderman 3. Maybe Falcon/Wintersoilder too. That rest seems unneeded.

I'm excited for Moon Knight, but its violent in the comics and I feel like Disney is going to neuter the character.

I'm only excited for Blade and Spider-Man. Nothing else interests me. Unless Deadpool makes an appearance.

Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Thor catch my interest so far. I’m in a spot where I’m waiting to see more of the other movies though. I’m pretty sure a good trailer for Black Widow or Eternals should catch my eye.
Reignited... and hopefully less weird this time around.

I'm a guy with simple interests. Mostly revolving around monsters blowing up entire cities.

I'm rather intrigued by Eternals. Its got an interesting cast and there's a ton of stuff that it could possibly set up for the future.

I hope Sony let's Marvel do Tom Holland in the black suit for just one movie and then they can give it back to Eddie if they want.

Tom Holland Spiderman with the venom we seen in his movie would be gold.

Honestly, after watching Venom, I think Venom (Tom Hardy) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) would be able to play off each other real nicely, and form a good team to combat Woody Harelson Carnage.

It's kinda crazy how many different unadapated Spider-man stories they could do.

Blade's not even gonna be part of phase 4, Kevin Feige said he's in phase 5.

I'm also looking forward to Fantastic Four, but that's phase 5 as well.

I think Carnage is going to be like Sony's Thanos. Spider-Man and Venom will lose. They'll need a ton of heroes and anti-villains alike (Black Cat, Spider-Man 2099, Silk, Kraven, Morbius, Shocker, Nightwatch, Toxin, etc) to beat him.

^Speaking of which,i would LOVE a Toxin movie in Sony's Spiderverse. Have him have a weird identity crisis because his father is an absolute nutcase and he doesn't want to be like him.

Toxin shouldn't come in till after Carnage or they'll have to revamp his charcter. But considering Riot wasn't Venom's son and I doubt Carnage will be his daughter maybe it could work.

The while thing about Toxin though was he was stronger than Venom and Carnage combined.

Venom kind of acted like Toxin in "Venom", honestly. So i'm curious how they'd handle his characterization.

And Venom was a lot like how i imagine Carnage in Spider-Man 3. Especially when Eddie and the Symbiote got separated and it growled like a dinosaur :dizzy:
