What do you think about this cult series? Who's your favorite 'bot? Mike or Joel? Which set of Mads do you prefer? What are your favorite episodes.

I love this show like no other. I had always loved watching and making fun of bad movies. So when I found a show that did the same, I just fell in love. Joel gets huge props for starting the series, but I prefer Mike as a host. He just clicks with me. Crow is my favorite co-host (mainly Bill's), because of his unpredictability. But I do love it when Servo sings. And concerning the Mads? I definitively have to say Dr. Forester and TV's Frank. I like Pearl and her gang, but the Dr. F and Frank duo is just classic. My absolute favorite episode is definitively Werewolf. It's the first episode I ever saw. Some others good ones that come to mind are Final Justice, Final Sacrifice, Zombie Nightmare, It Lives by Night, and Night of the Moon Beast. There might be some that I'm missing, though.

So what are your thoughts and opinions?

MST3K is currently my second favorite television show (next to The Twilight Zone). I really can't get enough of it. I could put in literally any episode, and within five minutes, I'm laughing my ass off. No other show has made me laugh so consistently and often.

I prefer Mike over Joel. Mostly because of the way that Joel acted. It wasn't terrible, but he always looked and sounded so depressed. Like he was one bad moment away from cutting his wrists. Yeah, he was under a lot of pressure for creating the show, but that doesn't change anything for me.

Anyway, I also like Crow over Tom. They're both awesome and hilarious, but Crow was always prone to sudden huge outbursts, especially when Bill took over. And those were always funny to watch. Its also that reason why I prefer Bill's Crow over Trace's Crow (but again, they're both awesome).

My favorite episode, by far, is The Final Sacrifice. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. Other favorites would be Prince Of Space, Werewolf, Blood Waters Of Dr. Z, Starfighters and Pod People. There are probably a lot more that I'm forgetting about.

I love MST3K, been watching it for ever since I was a little kid. Personally, I like Mike more than Joel. He looked like it was about to fall asleep at any moment. That, and most of the episodes I remember watching as a little kid had Mike in it. I'm not sure which Crow I liked more, they were both pretty good. I find myself watching the Soultaker episode alot. I also watch Space Mutiny, Manos, Giant Spider Invasion, and a few others.

Love MST to death. Just bought volume XVIII. Haven't seen Lost Continent or Crash of the Moons before. Lost Continent was middle of the road, but Crash of the Moons is a blast.

Shout Factory is really breezing through these. They're averaging about three a year and the next set has already been announced! Can't wait! I own all the official MST DVDs, except for Beginning of the End, which is unfortunately out of print. I own the Rhino VHS though.

I love the show. I've been playing catch-up on the Rhino DVDs, which I own a few (including the Godzilla episode set) :D , The movie, and all the Shout DVD's. It was one of the shows Dad and I watched, which makes it even more special. Manhunt in Space was last episode we watched together and we watched the Movie a week before he died.

Does anyone know that the Giant Gila Monster single DVD is still available? I don't want to buy Vol 10.2 because I have the one with Godzilla vs. Megalon.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

I only watched Godzilla vs. Megalon, Gamera vs. Guiron, part of Gamera vs. Zigra and the ending to one I can't remember. I like the show anyway. I think Crow is my favorite because he had some of the best lines in the ones I watched.

MST3K is my all-time favorite show.Ever since i first saw it i couldnt get enough of it.I met the cast of Cinematic Titanic in Seattle in June and got autographs. My favorite 'bot has to be Crow(the Beaulieu Crow) because his jokes and antics are so memorable.Dont get me wrong i love Servo too. When it comes to Mike or Joel, its Joel without a doubt. He is a more likeable character and relateable and i love his father-like relationship with the 'bots. And for the Mads its Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank. They just make a great duo, nuff said.My all-time favorite episode has to be my first one,The Killer Shrews.

Only the episodes that were released on DVD. Which, believe it or not, isn't even a fraction of all the MST3K's out there.

I believe the Gila Monster single was just a limited time only for those who already purchased the original Volume 10 while it was briefly on shelves. It was sold exclusively through Rhino's site.

I missed out on it too. However I won a copy on EBay for 13 bucks. A lot better than the $50 price on rebuying a bunch of episodes with it.

Oh god I love MST3K. I had never heard of it before but my stepdad introduced it to me a couple of years ago. We have a bunch of the official DVDs and there's a fan site online that sells the unreleased ones, so we have a lot of those episodes too.

The Final Sacrifice is a really good one. Zap Rowsdower is the man. And that one with the mexican movie about Santa Claus and the Devil... that one is hilarious. The Creeping Terror is pretty good too. Just ones off the top of my head that I've watched a couple of times and I love.

I think Gypsy is my favorite 'bot. She's classy.
