The most recent Hulk episode was honestly the first one I could say I legitimately liked. The fact that it had the annoying "in camera" view for most of the episode was an eyesore real quick but... There were no chibi shots, no breaking the 4th wall, and Fury's team only made a brief cameo as their alter ego's. Its too bad this episode is the exception rather than the norm, or maybe, ever so slowly, this show will start to mature?

I can't watch ANY new episodes!

Fios only has the 2nd and 3rd episodes on Demand. And I always work when the new episodes are airing.

I watched about 3 episodes of the show, I would more IF OUR DVR DIDN'T CRAP OUT ON US A FEW TIMES! D:<

The best way I can describe this is it's like teen titans, only not funny and kind of lame. It may pick up but I dunno and YES I hate the Spider-Bike. Also why does Capt's costume seem a little bit different? Is this the ultimate Universe or a version of the movieverse?

I only saw the bike in one episode so far, and even Spidey himself didn't care for it.

and apparently it's marvel TRYING to tie it into the movieverse... but meh.

I still prefer Spectacular Spider-Man. By far my favorite animated Spider-Man series.

Bump bump bump bump spider-bump.

Well thanks to on-demand having nearly half the series, I went out and decided to give this a chance. This show does have potential to be good, it really does but it's the stupid jokes and stuff that ultimately kill it yet.... I'm enjoying it somehow? I dunno but for some reason I kind of feel like checking out spider-man even with OMD still canon. Plus I got a whole shit ton of spider-man comics on my iPad too.

You can kind of say the humor is like family guy with it's cutaway gags but at least with those it doesn't happen IN THE FRIGGIN MIDDLE OF A ACTION SCENE!!! D:<

But I'm somehow liking it, maybe I adjusted to it's crap factor but I will say I like iron fist in the show... I just don't like it how Venom has been changed where he's no longer an alien or resemble his ultimate origin.

It will never be Spectacular. Spectacular was just Spider-Man perfection tragically cut short. Last month I watched all 26 episode, and I still crave more.

That said, I watched the first two episodes of Ultimate. I took a deep breath and let go of my resentment of the cancelation of a superb series because of bullshit studio politics and gave it an unbiased shot. I kind of dug it, kind of an updated Spidey and His Amazing Friends meets Teen Titans (with a dash of Diary of a Wimpy Kid). Kind of refreshing that they decided to not recycle the tried and true Spidey story and did its own thing.

I can wait for DVD to catch up with it, though.

If you have U-Verse, a good 6 or 7 episodes are on demand AND their doing a big Marathon monday I think. I'm actually quite close to being caught up with the show and the marathon will help that out.

And I shall talk a little more about this show.... Later.

Yeah, I got... nothing. I do most of my TV watching on Hulu, and I DVR the Walking Dead at my sister's house, that's about it.

I think I watched the first two episodes at Marvel.com. But I don't really remember.

I watched several eps, including the ones staring Venom and Thor. This show did nothing but make me miss Spectacular even more. Spidey's voice was bloody annoying, he can't go 2 minutes without having to obsessively joke to the audience ("He's some kind of symbiote! Yeah, it's a real word! Biology, guys!"), and the numerous chibi-moments just feel out of place.

And what's with the need to always give a minute-long backstory monolouge for every newly-introduced character? It's like walking into a theater to watch a movie and the usher gave pamphlets to everyone that indexes and gives a brief description to every character in it. It interrupts the pacing and distracts you from the story. MG's right in that the humor is similar to Family Guy...which is a BAD thing.

The only redeeming factor is that character models are actually decent. Though I don't like Peter's hair.

So hey! The second season to this series will be premire in January.

Maybe with all the criticisms the show received, they can improve upon it... Or you know sink lower then the show has already sunk.

BUT! With all that said, I liked two recent episodes. One with Captain America and the other with Spider-ham.

January? That seems odd considering The 2 part season finale is this Sunday (followed by the 2-part series finale of Avengers EMH the following Sunday 11/4). I thought Disney would try to have their Marvel Block all together in the Spring. USM S2 was supposed to start along side Hulk & the Agents of SMASH, and Avengers Assemble in Spring 2013 (I was guessing April based on this year date). But I can never tell what cable channels are doing anymore, thats why I just stream everythign online.

For what its worth, I am actually warming up to the new series. If the The Chibi Spider-Man and the constant 4th wall breaking are used far less, or eliminated, that will go a long way to improving the series. I would say Disney was going to try to compete with CN DC Nation which returns also in January, btu they aren't even on the same days.... so I have no idea.

Oh and since I saw the majority ofAvengers EMH Season 2 back in June since it aired in Australia back then, and episodes leaked online, I'll say the finale is pretty cool. Jeph Loeb tried his best to screw up this series, but it still had an honorable finish, anyone who hasn't seen it should tune in on 11/4.

Okay so I finished up what makes up season one today and while it's a lot of crap with this series, the season finale... It's THE best episode to come from this series. Oh man, with a few minor nitpicks and bad jokes with the finale it's almost EXACTLY what I want for this show to be!

Now maybe with the season finale being good, MAYBE this is the direction season 2 will take and if so then I welcome it! I don't want to give any details away but I'll just spoil two things:

SPOILERS:

-Green Goblin is in it BUT what makes it interesting is he's kind of an amalgam of the 616 continuity and the ultimate continuity. He looks like Ultimate Goblin but he acts like 616 goblin AND has a glider and gauntlets that shoot lightning. No pumpkin bombs sadly but hey close enough. His origin is WEIRDLY different as Green Goblin is created when merging synthetic spiderman DNA and Venom's DNA and then injecting it in Osborn.

-Venom makes another appearance in this episode but THANKFULLY he's removed from Harry and Osborn said he's not worthy of him and says he needs to find someone with the right hate for spiderman to have it or something like that. Why didn't he just have him bond to himself? Uhh... Cause that would be cool maybe?

-I know I said two but this isn't much of a spoiler but the helicarrier has this BIG protocol and has everyone who's everyone on board and help take on Goblin. Here's my question: why didn't any of the avengers help?

END SPOILERS

But yeah, if there's one episode you NEED to see I say to watch the finale. It starts off as a traditional ultimate spiderman episode but then becomes something different.

It's an acquired taste to be sure, but I'm slowly beginning to get over the loss of my precious Spectacular Spider-man. The show does have its moments and it provides some fresh takes on the characters we've become familiar with. I'll continue watching it.
