While I was never a big fan of Marvel, the Ultimate Avengers was an enjoyable read. Great art, and some OK to fantastic writing.

I'm not much of a fan of Spider-Man, especially when he's taken from the role of 'Urban Warrior' (where I think he should stay, IMHO) to someone who goes around on planets with the Avengers.

Ultimates 1 and 2 are good, 3 leaves ALOT to be desired. Ultimate Comics Avengers 1 and 2 are smashingly good. I love the Red Skull twist. I mean Steve Roger's illegitimate son?! How is that not win?!

The series starts out good - fresh new takes on the villains, characters are younger and easily more relatable and you dont need to read 500 back issues to understand why Spider-Mans costume has larger patches or blue then red now... I gave it a chance for 40 issues...no more I say!

Black Cat you mean? :)

I'm not a big Ultimate fan either. I don't hate the stuff, but I prefer the original universe. Everything else to me is 'what if.' The real deal comes first.

I haven't actually sat down and watched a Cartoon Network show for ages (not counting the [adult swim] block). They just don't interest me anymore. :|

That's cause there's not anything to really be interested IN. If anyone disagrees, whatever. I just hate kid's TV channels now. Nothing good on 'em IMO.

^I'll agree with that. Every now and then there's a good new show... but it's rare. Most shows SUCK these days.

I still have not watch CN, Nickoldeon, and Disney Channel in years. Sometimes I will watch Nicktoons because they will play old Nicktoons from the 90's like CatDog. I think I will watch Ultimate Spider-Man when it comes out on DVD though.

The MTV Spider-Man series was okay, the CGI was pretty crappy though.

So was Stormhawks, DragonBooster, Action Man, Max Steel and Cubix, but they were all fun.

Some new info, and sounds great so far. If its just as good as the new Avengers tv series then I might check it out.

I hope so, we need a new Marvel animated universe since the one from the 90's had all the TV series put into one universe similar to the DCAU.

I actually am looking forward to this.I did find the Ultimate Spider Man comics alright and what's being said by the ones working on the show make me really excited.I wouldn't mind if they use a bit of comic-book style cel shading and comic panels like the Ultimate Spider Man game did.I really hope this show has a bit of an arc based off the Ultimate Spider Man game.If it does,I don't want it to be altered too much.I want it nearly like the game's story.I wonder if it's gonna be in the more violent side like the Spider Man 2003 series on MTV.
It's a signature with words. What more can you want?
