By far one of the best shows I have ever come across. Been seeing since the beginning and I love it.

Just got seasons 2,3,6, and 7 for Christmas. While the overall seasons since the conclusion of the Lucifer arc have dropped in quality there have still been several stellar episodes. These past three having been particularly fun. Just like the X-Files the show always seems the best when it decides to have fun with itself.

^Yes it dropped quite a bit after season five, but picked up rather quickly. The Leviathan angle was a really good turn in my opinion. And with the conclusion of season 7, demons are coming back, with a vengence I might add.

I love the show! The 2012 comic con panel was funny. I've seen seasons 1-7. I saw 1 episode from season 2 and was instantly hooked. Definately downhill after Lucifer, but it gets going again for sure. Slight spoiler here, mental hospital Castiel is hilarious.

Interesting sidenote, Jared Padalecki starred in the Friday The 13th reboot, Mark Sheppard was in Charmed & Firefly, Jim Beaver was in Dexter. Several cast members have done some awesome movies and television.

I swear I saw Misha Collins in a low-budget film somewhere. Yes, I believe it was Stonehenge Apocalypse.

I love this show. Back in August, I went up to Vancouver to attend one of their conventions. I met most of the cast and crew, got autographs, and had a really good time. It's one of the few shows I tune in weekly to watch.

Not going to lie, this had me laughing. I do enjoy when Lucifer is messing with Sam and the story for the most part was good. Its just has two things i dont like about the later ones, the story between Sam and Dean seem rehashed and the omega monster story did fall short for me.

Glad someone finally did a thread about Supernatural.

My absolute FAVORITE show on tv right now.

I love the series so much, Season 6 to Season 8 have been ok but not as awesome as the first 5.

To be completely honest I still think the first season was pretty mediocre. But from the 2nd episode of season 2 the show really kicked it into high gear and hasn't looked back since. I still think it needs to be a little more episodic on occasion. By the way CW has already picked it back up for a 9th season.

Your welcome. I'm glad this show is going so well, and the news of a 9th season is really good.

Been watching this show the last few months, really enjoy it. I'm surprised at the number of Godzilla references in the show. He has been referenced multiple times, and Mothra a few times as well. Kripke is apparently a fan for sure

The producers have said they are planned for10 seasons currently. Sounds like a great place to stop if you ask me.

My mom and I blasted through the first 7 seasons on netflix, and loved it. I wholeheartedly agree that the show went downhill after season 5. Season 6 was to me, undoubtedly the worst. Except for The French Mistake. I also noticed aesthetically the show got much brighter, like Psych, in seasons 6 and 7. I think that was a mistake because the dark and grayness of the first five seasons helped it keep the eerie persona.
And I can't believe no one brought this up yet-

One of my all-time favorite TV series. Season 8 was MUCH better than season 7. I still think season 5 was the high point of the series, but it is again trending upward instead of falling.
