Yeah I remember seeing this when the BD first came out. I'm glad it was left out. I heard it was intended to make audiences think it was just one of Freddys victims dying while they were sleeping, but revealing later that it was actually Freddy himself dying... which could of been an interesting idea I guess. But it's so obvious that it's Freddy under those bandages that it just wouldn't of worked.

There is also one deleted scene that wasn't in the deleted scenes section on the disc that had Freddy super tall and wearing a black hooded robe. There's shots of it being filmed in the featurettes. But the actual scene has never been shown from what I can tell.

Same. I was SUPER pissed at how many deleted scenes were left off the blu-ray. It's so obvious that the 2010 film went through a ton of reshoots and reedits, and it seems like it was all done to ensure the final product was the blandest film possible. When they eventually make a new NOES, I'd really like to see them do something interesting with the film, and hopefully spend some money on it to do some creative dream sequences.

As some here may know, one of the ideas kicked around for the ending of FREDDY Vs. JASON , was to have the two slashers dragged down a hole to Hell itself. And the two would start up their fight again. Only to be grabbed by chains from the darkness around them, and out of the darkness would step out the Black Pope of Hell himself, Pinhead.

If Freddy was able to escape his imprisonment in the Labyrinth, or even join the Cenobites in dispensing their sweet suffering, the Dream Stalker maybe would be sporting a new glove. Perhaps something like the one conceived by Nightmare Configurations.

That idea would've been so damn cool! Way better than the ending we got.

Honestly Jackie Earle Haley was an good choice for Freddy , Robert Englund cant play the character forever . I am skeptical though of this being another remake.

Sat and watched the remake for the first time in a few years. I still say its not as bad as others say it is. Enjoyable enough, and with a few tweaks, I think Haley could of been down right amazing as Freddy.

But watching it made me think, what if they actually went with the "He was innocent, and is killing us for lying" angle they tried to get us to believe?

^ Uh, yeah, throwing Chucky into the mix seems a bit redundant...

Both of them going to Hell and meeting Pinhead? Oh, yeah - a LOT of possibilities THERE...

The music video was great! Freddy, however, didn't look like himself. Guess that's due to copyright restrictions.

Did you know that the CD Elvira Presents Revenge of the Monster Hits from Rhino Records had this song on it? Thanks to this video, I found out that they really shortened it, though. All that I can say about that is "Rhino, how could you?"

A look into Robert Englund's pitch for the third Nightmare flick, Freddy's Funhouse. Some which ended up being worked into Dream Warriors.

With the success of HALLOWEEN's big return to the big screen. Many are looking for the return of some of the classics. Jason. Leatherface. And last ,but certainly not least, Freddy. According to AQUAMAN screenwriter, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, a new NIGHTMARE is in the works. However, New Line is mostly focusing on THE CONJOURING franchise at the moment. But who knows what tomorrow will bring ? And after his guest appearance on THE GOLDBERGS as Freddy. Robert Englund, who said he was done playing the Dream Stalker, has felt the fires of the boiler room reignite. https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/353 ... lm-street/

This is kind of non-news. They've been talking about remaking Nightmare (again) for a couple years now. And all he really said was that nothing is really happening, but it'll probably happen eventually. Given Halloween's success, everyone kinda knows we're (sadly) getting another slew of horror remakes down the pipeline.

I would love to see a new Nightmare movie, but at the same time I would be perfectly ok if an other one didn't happen. I guess it depends on how it's done.

Honestly...I've always been more into Jason, Michael & Leatherface.

I've tried many times to get into the "Elm Street" series...but I
can never make that "connection" others have.

Freddy himself is a true icon of horror...but like I said...I prefer
the other "famous slashers" of the time.

Englund talks about wanting to play Freddy again. Also says if he can't play the Dream Stalker, he'd love for Kevin Bacon to take up the bladed glove for the next one. If not Bacon, I'd love to see Bill Nighy given a shot personally.

As some may already know, the rights to the A Nightmare On Elm Street have recently reverted back to the Wes Craven estate. And said estate is now taking pitches for a new flick. Plus, there also maybe an HBO Max series in the works as well.

I've started watching the series over from the beginning as the only films I remember where the remake, Freddy vs Jason and part 5.

Man was the first film a good one. Also they're working on a new series/film.

Not yet.

Hell, there hasn't even been confirmation OF a remake or a sequel or anything. Just Craven's estate saying "we're open to ideas!" and some pitches from big names in interviews.
