No one is saying they have to do Aquaman or Hawkman. They could very easily go off of just Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Flash. Much like what The Avengers did with Hawkeye, they can add in more characters specifically for that movie, like Aquaman or Martian Manhunter.

Also, they had a "successful" Green Lantern film. It made back its budget with a little bit left over. And another Superman movie is in the works. All they really need is Flash and Wonder Woman.

Can DC use the Nolan Batman for a Justice League movie by the way or would that require another reboot.

From what I've seen that Green lantern was not successful at all since it took them months to gross over 200 million and the movie has 325 million budget if you add marketing to the film's budget.

That's if you factor in marketing. I'm not. According to Wikipedia, the budget was 200 Million, and the film grossed roughly 220 Million.

Either way, there was a Green Lantern film. That's the basics for Green Lantern if and when they do a Justice League movie. Wether the film was good or even successful is beside the point. It's there and done with.

The thing is Marvel basically pulled a trick out of their ass with this one Releasing all these movies building up to The Avengers and not one of them bombed?
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

The Avengers was pretty funny and had some great action in it. The story was a little shallow and there were pretty dumb inconsistencies. Some of the CGI was rushed and some of the dialog/acting was weak in parts. Overall, it's pretty fun and you DEFINITELY get your money's worth. There's an additional scene after the end credits (not the main end credits) that's not in the UK version. Watch Mark Ruffalo in that scene. He's REALLY trying to keep from laughing.

Very awesome movie. The superb action was no surprise, but I was surprised at how funny it was.

*SPOILERS*And poor agent guy. I doubt he ever existed for a purpose other than being killed in this one, but still.*SPOILERS*

It was called sarcasm, GxG. DC Comics hasnt had a successful flagship character movie outside of Batman since the Reeve-era Superman films (1 and 2 at least..). Where as Marvel has had...how any? Hmmm..

And Hawkeye was in Thor, a brief one line cameo. And since The Avengers and Marvel's Movie universe is based on the Ultimates comics, Hawkeye started as a supporting character. The Justice Leaguers are ALL big ballers.

A Justice League could be a great way to counter this movie but so far we have only seen Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.
DC Comics or whoever needs to made either Wonder Woman or Flash. Until then the closest thing to that...

Gotta admit, that looks pretty badass. As for The Avengers, I'm going probably see it either Monday or next weekend.

The movie was just awesome and I love every second of it. The movie really lives up to the hype and the best Marvel film to date. I don't think there was a single moment that I didn't like at all.

It's pretty good. Definitely the best movie I've seen this year. Some shots had a made-for-TV look and the one-liners were corny at times but the action was cool and it's so nice to see the same people return to play certain characters.

I loved it. Absolutely. Positively. Loved it. It lived up to all the hype I built for it in my head.

The action scenes were superb and easily some of the best crafted city destruction sequences I've seen in a long time (eat your heart out, Transformers 3). The acting was purely phenomenal, I found myself especially surprised with Scarlett Johansson (when I wasn't looking at her ass) and Mark Ruffalo. It was funny, was full of great dialogue, and had plenty of fan-service (both kinds).

I can't wait to see where Marvel goes from here after the big reveal at the end. Hopefully we'll see more interaction between these characters in future films. *starts wringing hands impatiently for Iron Man 3*
