Because Norton is an ass.

That's not especially true. Norton was quite steamed about the studio cutting many dramatic looks into his character out of "The Incredible Hulk". Which is understandable. Universal cut him out of future projects because they saw him as a risk.

If he does appear then it should be in a sequel.

As diesel as those pictures are, they are not a prop for any movie. It was just a replica of the Guantlet for display at Comic Con.
I know this because my friend was all over that thing at Comic Con, and thought that it was for one of the movies, but they found out that it was just a display thing. Nothing more to it.

As for a villain, I wouldnt be suprised if they went the Ultron rout. Or go even crazier and have Loki show up with the Red Skull.

Plus, if they had Black Panther apart of the cast, I'm certain Joss Wheadon would've gotten Chiwetel Ejiofor to play T'Challa. I think that guy was born to play that part.

It's a pretty kick-ass prop though. I think the best move for the movie would be Hulk as a villain, to be perfectly honest. But virtually ANY of the Avengers villains would make me happy.

By the way the Hulk movie sets it up... You'd think we were going to get some variation on AVENGERS vs HULK... which is actually a very good idea in my mind.

Norton might be an ass. But he did a damn fine job playing Banner in my opinion. So I would love to see him reprise the role.
So too for Liv Tyler as Betty Ross. She did a KICK-ASS job! But then again Liv has rarely disappointed me.

I absolutely do not want to see Thanos this early...

If they wanted to bring it back down to a more "Human" Level the could have the Red Skull manipulate the situation with the Hulk instead of Loki. But Loki would be more fun.

I know this is an Avengers Thread... but I wished they had continued the FF movies. I actually liked them and they came off very similar to their comic Counterparts.

And it's been revealed in a recent radio interview that the villian will be.... The Void!!! :O I guess the director has a soft spot for the sentry after all.

*Deep happy sigh* Well there's not really much news currently other then the director saying he wanted to do this and he has had some projects taken away from him and this might be one of them but I doubt it.

Now moving back to my prank, a story involving the sentry and the void would be an interesting sequal but only of Fox doesn't renew the rights to the fantastic four.

Disney has acquired the rights to Iron Man 3 and The Avengers, but they want to buy back the rights to Fantastic Four, X-Men, Daredevil and Spider-Man as well, meaning they could be incorporated into the Marvel Movieverse.

As long Fox and Sony are making money off there movies then X-Men, Ghost Rider, DareDevil, F4, and Spider-Man can not be apart of the Marvel movie universe. I don't like the fact that we will see a Disney logo during the release of The Avengers, and Iron Man 3.
