Why is there so much hate for this movie? I mean, it's not better than the first one, it's a typical sequel, but it's not terrible by any means, certainly not the garbage that the creeps at IGN claim it to be. I can undersant not liking the AVP films, they have their weirdness, but this? Just look at it: it has a Jamaican guy facing off with the Predator! What more could you ask for? Awesome sex scenes? Oh it's got those too! (Well, one) It's definitely better than the bore-fest known as Predators, which a ridicoulous amount of people seem to love...It also added a lto to the Predtor mythology, like the clan system and the idea they'd been hunting here for centuries, or do
"fan" not like that for some reason?

I actually refused to watch Predators for a while because it only referenced the first film and didn't achnowledge the second. I get avoiding AVP and AVPR, but Predator 2 was a good sequel. The King Willey Scene is easily one of my persional favorite. I'll admit that the first Predator film is better, but this one is my persional favorite.

Predator 2 was a fine sequel, To be honest i haven't seen it in about a year or 2 an it didn't live up to the Original but it was far from a bad film... IT was better then Predators, an both AvP films... So i don't understand the hate for this film.

The movie is alright. The action and gore scenes are fun to watch but the acting and characters where not that great. I found the characters to be pretty forgettable. I don't see how this movie earn so much love from fans over the years? I feel like Predators is a better movie critically speaking.

I thought Danny Glover did fine. It was a nice change away from bulk of muscle that is Arnold.

Never saw the original, this film was okay. Some cool scenes but the characters weren't that great. Predators was so much better than this.

I can barely understand glover when he talks. It's so raspy sounding. I just couldn't buy him being a "warrior" on the level of Arnold in that he could actually kill a predator

Technically, the comic came out first, but yeah, it was like at the end of Jason goes to Hell, where Freddy's glove pops up.

Of course, fans didn't like either movie...
