New Shark attack movie, Bait (2012)

Warning: this is the red band so it's bloody.

This does look interesting, it atleast looks like a new creative take on the killer shark genre.

Are there other sites where this trailer's featured, cause Youtube wouldn't let me see it.

Like the flooded setting, but why is it always a freaking great white? Why not a tiger or a mako or a bull? There are other dangerous sharks. Hell, there are MORE dangerous sharks. I'd rather a big bulky shark in there like a white rather than something slimmer and more maneuverable.

Well, my whining aside, looks cool. Will try to check it out eventually.

Managed to see the trailer. I was expecting the guy at the beginning of the trailer to be the shark, but I like this.

I't be cool to see those other sharks but the GW is a classic. Its like how almost every dinosaur movie has to feature a T-Rex. Sure there may be bigger or meaner creatures out there, but the T-Rex and the GW are what instantly pop into the general public's mind when you say "dinosaur" or "shark". Hey the sharks in deep Blue Sea were not GW's though.

Nope... they were giant Makos. Which is nearly the same thing

Hilariously there was also a "tiger shark", which was just a mako w/ tiger stripes.

Just watched the trailer a second ago. I have to admit, just when you thought they couldn't credibly pull off another killer shark movie... They do this. Looks promising.

I know there were Mako's and a Tiger, but I could of sworn there was a Great White too... but looking into it, I guess not.

I'd rather see ''MEG'' made into a big budget movie... but the chances of that happening are none...

So i guess this will have to do. Also i have seen several shark movies without Great Whites... Some with Goblin Sharks, Some with Bull-Sharks, an even Tiger Sharks. Great White just has the name that grabs attention... as someone else said.. mention a rare Dinosaur other then Tyrannosaurus Rex... an some people will ignore or just pass on the article.

It doesn't just end there.. Batman now pretty much is the staple of super-hero's, just as much as every article that mentions a movie of a giant monster destroying the city Godzilla usually makes an appearance in there.

Nothing wrong with that.

It seems you can't make a shark/killer acuatic creature that has:
- Underwater POV shot followed by character trashing in the water.
- The line "get out the water!".

That said, I liked the tsunami effects on that trailer, as well as the music.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

Why is it that every online source I've seen for the movie says they'res a pack of Tiger Sharks in this?

Anyways, the movie has potential, it has a great premise but I highly doubt it will be done well. Like someone else said above, I'd rather have MEG be made into a film. That would be spectacular.
