Spoony essentially giving the middle finger to all of his fans and, in the process, getting fired from his job ruined my day. He was one of my inspirations to become a film critic, so I wish that this could have ended better then it did.

I have a Rootkit that I cant remove, I use AVG and Malwarebytes. AVG says theres nothing, MWB says it's there but wont remove even after restart.

You should ask on the MBAM forums. Someone WILL help you, but it'll be a lengthy process.

Disable AVG and any other protection program and run ComboFix.

Roger Ebert gave Ted a higher rating then Woody Allen's To Rome With Love, effectively saying Seth McFarlane made a better movie then Woody Allen.

The most influential film critic of the last 40 years just said that a film made by a wasted-up insulting "comedian" is better then a film made by one the most influential directors of the last 30 years.

That just breaks my brain. I've seen the trailers for both movies and I just don't get it. I feel insulted while watching the trailers for Ted. Whereas I was laughing my ass off at the trailers alone for To Rome With Love. That movie looks fantastic, while Ted looks awful. It just does not compute.

Ebert loves Woody Allen's films though, so this just baffles me. If there's one thing I could count on from Ebert, it's that he'll always take smart comedies from directors like Woody Allen over really stupid one-trick pony comedies like Ted (it's a bear that talks and is dirty, big deal).

So this ruins my view of Ebert. And that makes me sad.

ALL film critics are bound to hate some films otherwise universally acclaimed. Plenty of masterpeices have recieved 1 or 2 stars by Ebert and other critics. Don't know why it bothers you so much.
