Huge wasp nest under grandparent's dock. Looked around, no bug spray. But, guess what we did find.

Bear deterrent.

It's basically super-pepper spray. Sprayed the nest, blasted it a few other times for show, and ended up walking through big clouds of it. Was coughing and sneezing for multiple minutes straight, and I got the least of it. Cousin got some directly on his face. He was in the pool with a house running over his face for fifteen, twenty minutes.

Worst part?

Wasps survived.

Still reeling from the sunburn I got from the beach a few days ago. My skin is getting ready to peel and yesterday it itched like hell, like the burning and itching was driving me crazy. After literally 5 forms of treatment, we got the itching to decrease to the point where it was tolerable enough for me to sleep (Even then I needed sleeping pills to finish the job).

Today is much better, but the itch is still there and strikes harder but alot less frequent than yesterday. Hopefully tomorrow the itch will have gone to a minimum or disappear outright.

How I even got this sunburn was a mystery. I was pretty tan to begin with and I put sunblock on, yet i still got sunburn which strangely resembles the continent of Australia.

But seriously, my advice is to keep cool as much as possible. It's not too hot for me here, but I advise you to not be outside for too much.

*shrug* Gum up their spiracles. That's what I had hoped, at least.

A mixture of a dying bug fogger, firecrackers, and blunt objects worked though.

^ Use hair spray. It causes their wings to harden and become stiff so they fall out of the air, then stomp on them when they're down. Thats how I take care of flies.
