It's 420, and I get my little yearly chuckle of the irony of today being Weed Day and the birthday of Adolf Hitler. Call it divine irony, but it's a little tidbit that amuses me. Usually helps me keep a good mood all day.

Had a great anniversary date with my girlfriend last night. We had a good time, and I introduced her to the Marvel film anthology after we went on a nice hike through the woods near my place. She seems to have really liked Iron Man, which makes me happy.

So... I'm actually starting a paper early for once. Of course, that's only because the semester is coming to an end and I actually NEED to start it early for once. It's just an eight-pager, so I've set a challenge for myself to finish it within the next four hours. It's an analysis of NAFTA examining its reception by actors with varying interests and the extent of its influence on trade and foreign policy in the US.

EDIT: BOOYAH, bitches! Finished. Being a history major seriously has its perks when writing a lengthy essay.
