I hardly EVER trade in anymore. I only trade in my DS when the next BIG evolution in it is released (Ex. Dsi to 3DS).

Gamestop has some seriously shitty guidelines when it comes to buying used games.

Usually I get great customer service, and this is the first time that ever happened to me. Hell, I spent $20 (tax and shit) for their damn card and membership, but like everything else in the world, that don't matter anymore.

I got 5 GameStops left, the one in Duncanville, the two in Arlington, and the one in Midlothian...

Too bad, I was driving around town with her anyways. She said the change in your pocket wasn't enough for her.

All that go me thinking...

So I logged into my Gamestop account. I have 27,000 points. nice.

Most likely just going to use it for a PSN card. But then I still have 7,000 left. lol.

I hate the actor that plays Alex. Looks nothing like him. Unless he is older and uglier in the sequel.

Still you have to give them credit for making such a good advertisement. A few people I showed it to thought it was for a movie and didn't believe me when I said it's a game.

Oh yeah, the trailer is made of pure win. Alex's face just kind of knocks it down a notch.

Today is my father's birthday. He wouldve been 73. To celebrate Im making this HUGE NY strip steaks, grilled potatos and shrimp scampi. All his favorite foods. All using his recipes. Mom and my girlfriend are going to enjoy as well.

Happy Birthday Dad. Miss you.

What I like was that the claws did not look fake. Seriously it's sad that the FX in a commerceal these days look more real then FX in SOME of todays films. Yeah CGI can and has looked amazing before (T-1000 for the F'N WIN!) but the thing is CGI looks good when it's not rushed and it seems a few films just rush the CGI these days and CGI 20+ years ago looks better. Kinda like how if you take your time with a monster suit or pratical effect it can look amazing but if you rush it it's just gonna look like a guy in a shitty monster suit.

I don't know if thoese claws in the ad were props, CGI, or both but if they ever make a live action film of Prototype I would hope that the FX would be on par with that. Hell I would like to see more films today take their time with the FX like they used to instead of rushing like they do now days.

And yeah Alex looks off but they probably did the best with who they had to work with, they probabaly couldn't find someone who matches Alex in looks or age but hey at least he's the right build (sorta) and Heller was dead on. Though I will say making Alex bald was a no-no. Yeah you can barely see the guy is shaved/bald because of the hoodie and we never really see Alex's hair in the games but he always gave off the impression that he was lazy with his hair and doesn't bother with it since he's just gonna cover it up.

I salute you, sir. We do the same thing on my Dad's birthday: eat something he really like. I know where you're coming from.

Anyways, just sealed the deal on a good summer work opportunity. Gotta raise that money before I leave for college this fall.

Just finished talking to someone who says he can help me get a pretty nice job during the summer, provided I fill out all the applications by tomorrow morning. Which, with no classes, will be very easy to do.
