Well...G.I. Joe: Retaliation would have been coming out next week, if not for Paramount cruelly wrenching it from the schedule until MARCH 2013! Bastards better turn this movie into a freaking masterpiece, if they're taking all this time for reshoots and 3D conversion.

Sigh. At least I was able to grab the tie-in Cobra Commander figure at TrU.

I cant say I was excited to see GI Joe 2. I thought one was a bit cartoony. I wouldve liked a more dark and grittier movie. Or at least set during Vietnam. Or an espionage film.

From the look of the trailer, this one was going to be a bit of an improvement. I thought the first was pretty terrible, save for the Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow fights.

I would do anything to see a film legitimately based on Larry Hama's run. Hell, I'd love to see an animated series that adapted the Marvel issues. People don't seem to give that work nearly the respect it deserves, outside of the hardcore G.I. Joe fanbase. Hama knew how to balance the espionage with the action, and the humor with some shocking moments of brutality. Remember the SAW Viper massacre? That blew my mind when I first read it, having gotten into the story thanks to the Sunbow cartoon.

Went to a flea market, picked up a 1999 Anchor Bay VHS of Army of Darkness for $1, case has some scuffs and market ink but otherwise is fine.
Also picked up two used but dirty DVDs of Quarantine 2: Terminal and Pscho (1996)

and at Wal-mart I got;
-Riddick Trilogy
-Batman the Movie (1966 HOLY Special Edition BATMAN!)
-Rocky Horror Picture Show

    Mattel Batman Begins Movie Masters Batman

    Love my TDKR figure, and I just had to get the suit that's a tad cooler IMO. I'll probably add a Joker, Gordon and Scarecrow at some point too (I love how cheap these are! A relief from the MonsterArts rape..).

    EDIT: Damn Amazon told me it wouldn't get here till the 2nd at the soonest, yet here it is sitting in my mailbox for two days in the boiling sun lol. No damage done that I can tell, whew. Looks awesome, even better than his brother..

    I finally paid for my X-Plus 30cm Godzilla 1989. I also bought myself the second release of the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla, in the hopes that the eyes have been slightly to completely corrected. A gamble, I know, but hell, I'm curious.
