Stuckey's "How to get the girl"

Well, a girl in school gave me her number. I honestly don't know if this is a romantic thing or not, but can somebody give me some tips on how to talk to her and possibly get a date? I this sounds kinda bad but I've never been in this situation, and I'm really suprised that someone (who's as good looking as her) would give me their number. So I'm really nervous.... :oops:

My advice would be to call her up and hang out. If you feel a connection, ask her to go out on a date with you. Mind you, try not to get too close to her while you hang out, lest ye end up in the friend zone.

Yeah, I was thinking of this. If I ask out now she might think I'm a creep. I'll ask her out once I get to know her better. Right now we're just texting and everythings working fine. I think we'll just be freinds for now.

but...

My girlfriend says her parents want her to date a guy who can drive and take her around. I proably won't be able to drive till at least a year from now She says her parents MAY force her to break up with me.

WHAT DO I DO?

She's lying to you. No father wants his daughter in a vehicle driven by anyone besides him or the mother.

Well if they rack up a large gas bill acting as personal taxi, they might.

Looks like I may have got the girl without even trying. :shock:

She asked me if I wanted to sit next to her when we watch this movie in class. So I sat next to her and one of her freinds told me to go out with her. They said she would say yes because the read it in her book (I'm assuming her diary). So I guess I'll ask her out soon then.....

I was in that exact situation all throughout highschool, Grayshot. If you want my advice: Move on. It's the best thing you can do. Start talking to other girls and you'll stop thinking about her. I was in immense pain over a silly crush and it robbed me of my time and because of it I didn't take up offers I had from other girls who were really sweet and cute. Now they've all moved away, so I screwed myself over. You can't stay hung up on one girl, especially if you aren't even dating her. If the opportunity arises, you might try it. But don't stay so focused on her. It's REALLY not healthy. Just take some other girls out on a date for fun. You don't have to necessarily like them, but it will definitely take your mind off of it.
