I'd hate to have that screw me over if I meet someone later on...

uhhh, yeah this looks bad. although if you actually can drive and do own a car and have a job, if you explain that you only go with your mom to save on gas money it shouldn't be that big of a problem. but if you don't have a license, a car, or a job it could be a deal breaker for some (or maybe even most) girls.
I'm not saying that girls only date guys based on their money/cars/jobs but having at least a part-time job (while going to college) and having your own mode of transportation just makes you look like you're an able person. if that makes sense. girls just don't want to date guys who rely on their moms for spending money or rides everywhere, lol.

Oh no, nothing like that. I can drive and I have a job. Hell, I know a bus route which goes from near my house to my campus (although the closest stop to my house is 5 miles away). My problem is that I don't have a car, and both of my parents cars are unavailable when I need them. And since the aforementioned stop is 5 miles away, I'll be damned if I'm going to hike my way there with all my huge-ass textbooks. So yeah, in other words, I don't really have much of a choice. And even if I do have a car, cheap-ass parents want me to go with them anyways to save gas money (and there's a lane which bypasses traffic, but only accomodates cars with 2 or more occupants). So yeah...

I know it sucks, but for the last couple of years when you would post random things like watching Kenshin together and the like, you really got something special. Things should just work themselves out for the better.
