I just read the TF Wiki article on Trypticon and I'm currently reading the article on scale, and yeah. Those robots are MASSIVE. I never really thought into it, but Unicorn is grossly unproportionately depicted in the cartoon movie. And come to think of it, even the Citybots are ridiculously huge. So I withdraw my former statement. Hats off to you sir, on that accord.

However, the point still stands that the more well-known bots (Optimus, Megatron) are no where near as big as they'd need to be to fight Godzilla. And I'm sure no one is going to be interested in "Godzilla vs. Tranformers" if the only opponents the kaiju face are 10 times bigger than them and very little known to non-fans and small-time fans like myself, but I digress.

Well, I'm sure we would be. But MOST people wouldn't care, because the only Transformer even close to being well-known that is big enough to tangle with Godzilla is Devastator. And I'm not sure how many people would go for that either.

People would be interested, I'm sure. But it wouldn't be that far-stretching.

Dude, the TFs dont need to be 100m to be kick-ass as a VS comic.

TF and Godzilla would be IDWs perfect match up.

Well, I'll say it for the record: I'm not very skilled in the ways of this fandom yet. So cope with my stupidity for the time being.

It would be awesome.

No problem. But the way I see a TF vs Godzilla battle is think of those hunter aliens from Godzilla's dark horse series but more epic and on a larger scale.

The Simpsons/Futurama would be funny if done right but the Simpson creator hates crossovers more than Toho does with Godzilla.

The crossover The Simpsons did with the Critic, the creator demanded his name taken out of the credits and refused any pay for the episode.

Did you know that the creator of the Simpsons is the creator of Futurama. ;)

Which is why I wonder why there was never a crossover.

Well that would explain why there was never an animated crossover.

MARS ATTACKS...
Image
STAR TREK !!!
Image
It was hinted at last year during the IDW INFESTATION 2 panel that there was some thinking towards the third INFESTATION that the Martians were going to be the Big Bad for it. However, in an interview with IDW's Creative Director, Chris Ryall, another INFESTATION isn't in the cards :( , although something else is. To be revealed later I presume/hope. Anywho, one of the universes laid seige to in the multiuniverse assult by the Martians, would be that of the United Federation of Planets. If Picard, Janeway, and the other outstanding members of the Federation thought the Klingons, Borg, and Dominion were trouble, then the Martians are going to show them what trouble is.

TOHO needs to allow Mars Attacks/Godzilla on the account that the Martians are interested in Godzilla and he was in their movie.

That sounds interesting the one and only, I would read that.

And yeah... Looks like I'm going to read that Futurama/Simpsons crossover.

While I'm still in the "I doubt that'll happen column." with regards to the House That Godzilla Built getting the stick out of their tuchas about crossovers with number one guy, and assorted associates. Chris Ryall, the creative director at IDW was able to get the Star Trek:TNG/Doctor Who crossover together after a bit of an uphill battle to convince the BBC to allow it. Soooooo, it a match-up with Godzilla could happen with another property. Maybe once there is a little more enthusiasm for the Big-G gets ramped up with the upcoming flick, maybe TOHO will be up for it.

Also, back on track of a Godzilla/Mars Attacks crossover, I've tried to look up something I found around when I was just starting out on the World Wide Web. Someone had actually done a few Mars Attacks cards, with Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah inserted into them. I've tried to to find that site a few times since, but my search has not born fruit I'm sorry to say.
