Better yet DH lost the rights to kong and IDW could be them. :D

Heck, if they can bring back Tupac for a live action performance on stage, the wizards in Hollywood can bring back good old Bufford for a return performance on the big screen.

I'd pay to to see that. Smokey and the Bandit is one of my favorite movies.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

I never liked the F&F movies, but putting Bufford in there would definitely get my ass to pay for a seat.

Here are some crossovers I'd like to see:
Godzilla the Animated series/Kong
X Men/The Avengers
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Power Rangers
Star Wars/Star Trek
Godzilla/Transformers
South Park/The Simpsons/Family Guy

I can't tell if some of these are sarcasm or not, but....

The avengers and X-men have crossover over NUMEROUS times and we've got an event now all focusesd on Avengers vs X-men. There's also an older series collected in two trades and another series called blood something also on trade.

The TMMT/PR happened in a parody kind of issue in a TMNT comic and there's the turtles meeting the power rangers in space ream.

The rest no but those other ones would be pretty cool.

The Avengers/X-Men crossover your thinking of with the plasma reference was the 1993, Thirtieth Anniversary celebration for both teams entitled BLOODTIES. One I thought would be cool, partially because the one was accused by some of being a rip-off of the other.
Also since both were based in New York, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES/GARGOYLES.

So I've been play a lot of Skullgirls lately and I noticed that it reminds me of Darkstalkers. If Skullgirls ever becomes a long running franchise and if Darkstalkers is ever brought back it'd be cool to get a crossover.

Ms.Fortune and Painwheel vs felicia and Jon Tailbain for the win.

One, actually two crossovers, that happened last year with the MORTAL KOMBAT relaunch. The first was the Big Bad/Anti-Hero of the uber-hit videogame series, GOD OF WAR, KRATOS(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtDYfZ2wuqA) was brought in to join the festivities. The other crossover contestant, from the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise. The Bastard Son of a Thousand Maniacs, Freddy Kruger(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAflgKTgYMQ&feature=related). Although sporting the less popular look used in the 2010 remake with Jackie Earl Haley in the roll of the Dream Stalker. The character is derived from the original actor playing the clawed one, Robert Englund. Hopefully, if or when the next MORTAL KOMBAT game comes out, the creator can use Freddy's challenger to the slasher crown, JASON "MOTHER****IN' VOORHEES, as a Kombatant for the Earthrealm.

I was thinking that maybe there could be a Jurassic Park/Aliens crossover series. Like the dinos would get infected by the Xenos.

That could be cool.

So the Doctor Who/Star Trek TNG crossover came out, so did anyone read it?
I read a preview on CBR and the art is... Different but not bad and the story does have me hyped.

This would be awesome, but the feasability of it is kind of in question. Even if you use the 50m Showa scale of Godzilla, Big G is still ridiculously huge compared to the Autobots (or at least the iconic ones). I'm not deeply immersed in Transformers fandom so I only know of Unicron and maybe the Devastator, but I have seen Matt Frank art depicting huge Transformers. Come to think of it, though... a Unicron battle featuring Godzilla kaiju and Tranformers mechs would be awesome.

The Simpsons/Futurama in an actually animated, well-done form seems possible, at least in my mind. Fox did used to own Futurama, and Comedy Central probably wouldn't mind it if The Simpsons and Futurama crossed over. I'm probably wrong, but the crossover has happened in comic book form. An animated version would be welcomed by me, since I don't care to read Simpsons/Futurama comics.

Aren't Family Guy, American Dad!, and The Cleveland Show getting a three-way crossover?

Yeah, futurama did crossover with the Simpsons in a comic and all three of Seth's show did meet in the end of a American dad episode.

As for the transformers comment, there's tons of big transformers out there like all the combiners, omega supreme, and some of the bases based characters that are good enough to measure up in size with the king of the monsters... Though I think Metroplex, Trypticon(Google him!), Scorpinok, and Fortress Maximus are too big for Godzilla. But then again Transformers' sizes vary.

I just read the TF Wiki article on Trypticon and I'm currently reading the article on scale, and yeah. Those robots are MASSIVE. I never really thought into it, but Unicorn is grossly unproportionately depicted in the cartoon movie. And come to think of it, even the Citybots are ridiculously huge. So I withdraw my former statement. Hats off to you sir, on that accord.

However, the point still stands that the more well-known bots (Optimus, Megatron) are no where near as big as they'd need to be to fight Godzilla. And I'm sure no one is going to be interested in "Godzilla vs. Tranformers" if the only opponents the kaiju face are 10 times bigger than them and very little known to non-fans and small-time fans like myself, but I digress.

Well, I'm sure we would be. But MOST people wouldn't care, because the only Transformer even close to being well-known that is big enough to tangle with Godzilla is Devastator. And I'm not sure how many people would go for that either.

People would be interested, I'm sure. But it wouldn't be that far-stretching.

Dude, the TFs dont need to be 100m to be kick-ass as a VS comic.

TF and Godzilla would be IDWs perfect match up.

Well, I'll say it for the record: I'm not very skilled in the ways of this fandom yet. So cope with my stupidity for the time being.

It would be awesome.
