Now that's exciting!

Isn't High Moon the company that did War for Cybertron?

As for Deadpool, while I find the guy funny, I feel he works best when he operates with a serious back drop. When it gets too comedic, it loses its focus and just becomes a comedy hour with little plot or investment.

Hmm... Will the game make or break it with me when it comes to deadpool? We shall see but so far I'm not really all that impressed with him. Sure I found his mugen counterpart hilarious but I didn't find him that funny in Hulk vs. and in MVC3/UMVC3 I found him to be less funny an more real annoying and the fact he's the new Wolverine whore at Marvel makes me kind of like him less. I did read deadpool classics #1 and I kind of liked it but that's mainly because it was a balance before where he was kind of serious and comedic. I need to read volume 2 and see if maybe that changes my mind but for now.... Deadpool isn't that funny.

.... Deathstroke > Deadpool. :P

Now someone who's still kind of on his rule of "No more spider-man until OMD is fixed unless it's an alternate universe or a writer's run", I say it's a good buy ESPCIALLY for that price. The book is really pulp fiction like and I heard some people compare it to the shadow and I can see why.

I also say check out Spider-man reign too, as it's the dark knight returns equivalent of spider-man but it's still pretty good.

Spider-man since Dan Slott took over has been pretty good. I mean, the fact that OMD exists still sucks, but it's gotten to the point where it doesn't matter as much.

I REFUSE TO LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE OMD IS STILL CANON!!! Oh and did I mention I'm a smart zombie? Hehe

But I just want OMD retconned and when that happens, I'll be more then happy to read anything spider-man related after that.... UGH! I also wish Joe and whoever else is the new big wig to stop being douches and do some crossovers with DC! I mean COME ON!!! With the right writers involved, we can have a whole Ton of awesome crossovers like:
Doctor Doom vs Lex Luthor
Lex Luthor vs Iron Man
Superman vs the Supermen of Marvel
Doomsday vs Hulk
A Thor/Wonder Woman team up.
The Doom Patrol meets the X-Men
Darkseid/Thanos team up
And so many more that I can't think of

One that seems to come up in a lot of forums as a fan-favorite crossover by the comic fans, which was even discussed during the hellacool JLA/Avengers crossover was a meet up between the heores of the DCU and Marvel during the the Golden Age/World War 2. The Justice Society of America and The Invaders. encountering each other would be sweet.

Also reading the Marvels Project a few years back detailing the origins of the Golden Age Human Torch, the Angel, Captain America, and the Sub-Mariner's declaring war on humanity for their invasion, and slaughter of his people. I thought a cool match up would be Superman when he was just starting his crimefighting role having to duke it out with Prince Namor in in the late thirties trying to stop the Avenging Son's rampage would make for good reading.

Well, I finished noir. (really quickly I might add...) and still didn't get my fill of the ok webhead, so I listened to you and ordered reign. Should be here by thursday.

And that's all you're gonna get from me! >:D

Ha ha!!! But that's because of my ban still BUUUUUT I can recommend other stories I've heard from friends that are good.

Now the most obvious one EVERYONE is going to say is Ultimate Spider-Man and while I've yet to re-read I do recall liking it the titles I owned and that's about it. I'm planning on re-reading them soon as I've been meaning to Check them out and who knows it may restore my love for spidey... That or the over 500 PDFs I can put on my iPad! >:D

Now the next one I've heard was good is Spider-Man: India. Haven't read it but I'm told it's great and stuff.

Then finally we've got the other big alternate reality spidey book, Spider-Man 2099. Haven't read it but I hear a lot of praise for it.

There's also two other books as well I know of you may be interested:

-Spider-Man: Chapter one. I'm told it's deliciously bad by some people but hey John Byrne is writing it and doing art... Which sadly I don't feel translate well with multiple colors the 90's gave us but that's just me. If I remember right, there's three volumes too this but I don't think they're all related.

-Spider-Man newspaper strips. Beware of this, while I'm told these are classics and I would love to read them there's just three problems:
1. No color, yet these were printed in color I believe. I may be wrong and it may be for the Sunday's but correct me if I'm wrong

2 and 3 go together really.
2. TERRIBLE reading design
3. Bad Gutter loss.

Now to start off with two, there's a certain way newspaper strips are suppose to be collected in graphic novel form. You probably know of theses, you Garfield's, peanuts, flash Gordon, Calvin and Hobbes, etc. Here however they said "Hey! Let's make it like a regular graphic novel and have it so it has to be turned to its side to read!!!" If you want to see that done right, excluding the turning to its side part then check out Popeye's collected comic strip. It's quite good how they do it even if it's skreeonk GIGANTIC!!!

And now too three, gutterloss is when the binding of a book makes it hard to keep opened and flat when reading. DC unfortunately has this problem with their omnibuses but I've been told the newer ones have gotten better. But yeah, the gutterloss for this however is so bad at times you can't even make out certain words because of it and what's the most important thing about a book? BEING ABLE TO READ IT!!! And for the fact they're charging 30 to 40 bucks for this shit is skreeonk criminal but get at your own risk, you know? Well that's all I've got to offer and I hope that helps.

Anybody read the first issue of "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe"? I just got done reading it, and so far it's pretty cool. My only complaint (and its a small one) is that the fight between him and the Fantastic Four should have been a bit longer, especially between him and Susan.

But for those who want a darker Deadpool, this is definitely a must-read!

Yeah, I've been a member since a few months before GFW came out in Japan. Don't really come here too often anymore, mainly because I've been too busy. Long story short, I was in Peru for a while, then college (half way done), training for Tae Kwon Do tournaments, started doing Jiu-Jitsu a few months ago, plus my responsibilities to all my reptiles and soon starting an education program on reptiles and amphibians have kept me away from here. I'm back, but I won't be on here very often. Seems like forever ago when everyone was speculating on what Monster X would look like or even if it was his real name lol!

I've picked up a few issues of Amazing and Avenging Spider-man lately and... I'm REALLY happy with them. It was quite the surprise. Now, I haven't caught up with everything I've missed out on since I stopped reading as a result of One More Day/Brand New Day, but I'm really digging it again. The Spider-Island story up until now has been a pretty rewarding read for me.

Now, what I'm not so much into is the Spider-men miniseries. I thought it would be something good, considering it was Amazing meets Ultimate, even if it's Miles Morales Ultimate Spidey (but is this REALLY canon in their respective universes? considering it's not really mentioned in their own titles. Anybody want to clarify for me?). However, it just isn't working for me so far. It's supposed to be this special Marvel event for Spidey's 50th anniversary but I find it both lackluster and irritating. I'm a fan of 616 Spidey before any other incarnation and I feel like this story, instead of focusing on the original for his 50th anniversary special, is focusing too much on Miles Morales, who is still relatively new to the Ultimate universe. I'm hoping it turns around soon.

Apologies if all this has been touched on before. I've been out of the loop on marvel comics for nearly a year.

Okay guys, I had an idea, and with most of my ideas I can't still if it's ridiculously awesome or ridiculously stupid:

So, Carnage goes and gets all of the symbiotes together at around the same time Norman Osborn goes and gets all of the Goblins together, and they have a huge war in the middle of New York. Heroes try to intervene, but it's mostly villain on villain, and it becomes ultra destructive. The Goblins really beat the symbiotes down, driving them all into the sewers, where they regroup and merge together, forming a giant symbiote that busts out of the ground and begins stomping on New York, belching acid to dissolve tanks and deflecting planes into cafes. The Goblins start fighting it, forcing it to the tallest building where theybuzz around, one finally strapping some bombs to himself and flying inside it's mouth, where he blows up the human "mind" operating the whole thing.

I am a super-genius, or bat-shit insane?
Before it can be filmed, drawn, acted or programed, it must be written.

Im not sure about the new NOW Thor. The 616 Thor appeals to me more when theyre not shoving him into an Avengers comic and turning his dialogue cheesy.
