I believe they're doing a new book, I dunno if John Carter of Mars is public domain or not reason I say this is like I said I think they're doing a comic and of course Dynamite Entertainment also is doing their stuff as well.

If so... no wait, I just wiki'd it. Dark horse has collected both of Marvel's and DC's stuff.

Marvel's being so god damn many and I'm guess DH wouldn't think it would sell well if put into individual graphic novels decided to do it in a Showcase/essentials style black and white and all that stuff and put it into one gigantic graphic novel.

With DC's stuff however, it was in color.

Im getting a bad feeling with the DC "reboot"/"relaunch" that I'll have to drop some titles and pick up the X-Books from Marvel.

Im a bit miffed that Red Robin is getting canned and Superboy is getting redone and Teen Titans, but GL and Batman arent too bad.

I couldn't find anything relating to that, so I don't think so. Like I said Dark Horse did release pretty much everything Marvel and DC did plus some dell stuff.

The only thing I'm aware of Marvel doing right now is a prequel to the movie and that's it.

I checked all around. Marvel has no plans to re-release their Warlord of Mars comics in 11/2011 in any form. They were JUST released 1/2011 and 3/2011 from DHP.

The only John Carter lit being released between now and 2012 are new editions of the novels.

Now that's weird as when I looked it up on Amazon and google, it didn't pop up but then again I didn't know it was an omnibus.

So 31 issues in total(including the annuals) for 100 bucks.... isn't that bad of a deal taking a look at the other omnibuses Marvel produces... but I do feel it could be 75 at most but hey that's just me. Could be worst, it could be like the dark phoenix omnibus which has... 12 issues in it, FOR 75 DOLLARS!!! But looking at it this way now, you have two choices. Either go the budget way and get the dark horse one with no colors OR get the expensive omnibus with colors.

So casual Marvel fan question.

Whats the story behind Red Hulk?

One man wanted to create an EXTREME character for Hulk and show off his EXTREMENESS by killing off one of Hulk's most memorable villains in a very lame disrespectful manner. He then came up with the idea of just throwing a different paint color on Hulk and boom, the birth of red hulk.

Oh hey Hellspawn, we can add that to the list of characters who's still dead.

But basically Red Hulk is spoiler warning. Spoiler Warning. Spoiler warning third time is General Ross and he teamed up with Modok or something and he became the red hulk but he can't transform back.

Red Hulk is weaker then he was when he first appear in the comics. He beat Odin Force Thor which piss off a lot of people and Thor won after the rematch. I remember Red Hulk also nearly killed both Terrax and Silver Surfer at once, I was like "WTF?".

He didn't nearly, HE DID! He killed Hulk... with a Harpoon in the heart, he decapitated Terrax with his axe, he broke Sufer's neck and drained him of his power cosmic because apparently he can do that, he knocked off Namor's block with said harpoon, I believe he fried tiger shark but he killed him either way, I believe Dr. Strange and his archenemy(not flaming head) also got killed by him, and to top it all off he KILLED Grandmaster with... His fists. One of the elders of the universe with immortality gets killed by Rulk's fists... yeah.

Is that Devil Dinosaur? Color me interested! I've always thought A-Bomb looked really cool and I've developed a soft spot for The Thing ever since picking up the first volume of the Fantastic Four omnibus (wish he looked less like a golem and more fleshy like he did when Jack Kirby drew him).

But I digress, that series sounds like a lot of fun. I'm game.

Titties.... uhh.... huh.

Kind of wish Fraction and Brubaker would do a book together, a book focusing on specifically Capt and Iron man. And if this Godly book does exist, please tell me!
