Abe Vigoda is dead at 94 years old.

This isn't a hoax this time. He's really dead.

It's a Sicilian message: It means Abe Vigoda sleeps with the fishes.
Before it can be filmed, drawn, acted or programed, it must be written.

In addition to Dave Mirra, today was a particularly brutal day.

ECW wrestler Axl Rotten was only 44.

Earth Wind and Fire founder Maurice White was 74.

According to a facebook post I've seen from a friend of mine who's very knowledgeable about all things Japanese, artist Yasushi Nirasawa, whose work included designing characters including Gigan for Godzilla: Final Wars and Hellboy, died on February 2nd from kidney failure.

Yasushi Nirasawa, passed away at age 52. The name didn't ring a bell, but after a kick search, he designed the costumes for the Xilien's and Gigan in Final Wars, along with a lot of other Toku suits

George Kennedy passed at 91. Probably best known to many as the captain from the Naked Gun films.
