First Natile Cole, now this. Damn, the music industry has taken a hit like horror last year. RIP good sir.

It's quite incredible what Bowie was able to accomplish. The two singles from Black Star are both amazingly good. Not necessarily innovative, but forward-thinking. He didn't settle with being a dinosaur of the past. Bowie kept going and going. That's really something. He will be remembered.

RIP, Major Tom.

2015 was the year of Bowie for me, getting into his work from the 60's, 70's and 80's, helped get through some tough times. This is a shock.

I'm quite shocked about this myself. I know he'll always be known as Snape from Harry Potter and Hans Gruber from Die Hard, but he's special to me because he was in one of my favorite movies, Love Actually. Here's one of his brilliant scenes from that movie:

By Grabthar's Hammer, by the suns of Warvan, you shall be avenged.

Rest in Peace, Alan Rickman.

So far, this year fucking bites. The amount of celebrity death is soul crushing. Gonna have to watch Galaxy Quest this weekend.
I will explain slowly why you are wrong.

This might be a rather morbid way of looking at this but maybe this is the end of an era and the start of a new one, new generation celebrities to carry on the torch.

Is it too late to hit that reset button for the year?

Always loved him as Metatron in Kevin Smith's DOGMA.

Damn, too soon for Mr. Rickman. Heck, you'd think David Bowie would be enough for the first quarter of 2016. Sad coincidence both him and David Bowie die of cancer, and at the age of 69.

Aww, we lost Bowie and Rickman? I'll admit, Rickman's passing hits me hard... loved the Harry Potter films and his role as Snape.

I feel sad for everyone else but as long as the big three of the OT Star Wars are cool I'll be fine.
