Joseph Pilato, aka the OG Captain Rhodes from Day of the Dead, has passed away.

This one hurts, man. Day of the Dead was my personal favorite of the 'Living Dead' trilogy.

Oh, man, that is a serious bummer.

My dad and I used to sit up late watching Day of the Dead together a ton when I was a kid.

Yeah this one certainly hits you right in the gut. His character in Day is one of Romero's best because he wasn't simply an evil villain. You could argue he was trying to maintain control, especially when compared to what "Frankenstein" was doing. "Choke on 'em!" is one of the greatest lines in the franchise.

Shane Rimmer, best known as the voice of Scott Tracy in the original Thunderbirds, has died at the age of 89. This is really sad for me, because Scott's always been my favorite TB character.

Still wish I could find his score from The Last Dinosaur. I've always been quite partial to it.

^ OMG, that's hard news. Lupin III is one of my anime faves, and one of the most famous animes ever! Well, he lived a long life and brought happiness to millions of people. Rest in Peace, Kato-san. You've earned it...

Surprised this didn't get any mention. Director, John Singleton(Menace II Society, Higher Learning), passed away Monday at the all too young age of 51. Due to complications brought on from a stroke.

Didn't think I would be the one announcing this here:

Peter Mayhew passed away on April 30 at his home in North Texas. His family and friends were at his bedside...

Rest in Peace, Mighty Chewbacca... :(

RIP Peter.

You were one of those great actors who made what could have been a generic monster or animal one of the most beloved characters of all time. My condolences to his family.

Rest in peace Peter.
My most wanted fight ever is Discord vs Bobobo-bo bo-bobo.
Godzilla has a regen like Wolverine, a skin like Luke Cage, a hero aura like Captain America, a strength like Hulk, an unstoppability like Juggernaut, an immortality like Deadpool.

There's a 'God' in Godzilla for a reason...

Harry Morgan, at 96.

This one stings a bit.

Alvin Sargent, the screenwriter behind films like Julia, Ordinary People, and the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy has died at 92

The man penned some of the defining stories of one of my favorite characters, and I never even knew his name.

RIP Mr. Sargent, and my condolences to his family.

RIP Sargent, honestly think he's a contender for best script writer.
