Yeah NCIS has been hinting his character is sick on the show. He hasn't been looking too good the past few episodes. His voice had been getting worse too.

I didn't know Barbara Hale was still alive. The last of the primary cast to pass sadly. She way outlived everybody else.

One of the few actors in Hollywood to be killed by an Alien, Predator, and Terminator in the course of their career. Damn, this is just the worst news to wake up to. My condolences to his family and friends. Hollywood really has suffered a major blow today.
