When people in the comments section of Youtube video argue about politics when the video is...just a video game walkthrough or a techno music video. Seriously if you're gonna argue politics then do it on a video that actually deals with politics not a completely unrelated video cause the gamers don't want to talk about that shit, they wanna talk about games.

This doesnt really get on my nerves. Rather, it's just something I dont get.

People who create anti-character groups or who are of the anti-character mindset. Not only does it seem like a waste of effort, but most of these haters have very petty or nonsensical reasons for their respective hate.

Example: People who hate the InuYasha character Kagome, but love Kikyo to death.

There's this user on DA who is completely anti-kagome. (yes, that's what they call themselves. Like it's a badge of honor or something). All she talks about is how sweet and beautiful Kikyo is, and what a horrible bitch Kagome is, and that she "MUST DIE."

What I dont get is WHY she's a horrible bitch who must die, and how Kikyo is so damn perfect. People like her go on about Kikyo being so sweet and kind and whatnot, and forget to mention how she STEALS THE SOULS OF DEAD WOMEN TO SUSTAIN HERSELF, THUS PREVENTING THEM FROM MOVING ON TO THE AFTERLIFE. And she needs a shit-ton of souls.

And Kagome's a bitch? Yeah, that's why when she found Kikyo trapped in a cave and immobile, she CARRIED HER ON HER BACK AND PROTECTED HER THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE ORDEAL, right? Or how about that time she found Kikyo who had been poisoned (and was literally hanging on by a thread) and went out of her way to revive her? Oh yeah, HORRIBLE person...

I just dont get it.

This I believe is a combination or an and/or of the tropes "Alternative Character Interpretation," which is how some people see a character and others see them (I don't get the hole Kagome = Bitch thing) or "Die for our Ship" where a character must die for their preferred romance. And it'll happen in any fandom. And it's stupid pretty much wherever it's seen.

Just a quick little extra bit about earlier.

The hater replied with a list of reasons why she hates Kagome, and they were pretty much the same thing on ANY hater's list.

-She's arrogant/conceited (vague statement for the win)
-She's a whiny bitch (because crying and having actual emotions is not cool)
-She is a weakling who needs rescuing (because a 16 year old human girl can totally take on a 10-foot tall ogre demon)
-She is mean to Inuyasha (even though Inu treats her WAY worse, and Kikyo wanted to drag Inu to down Hell)
-She has a bad english voice (oh yeah, that's fair. Judge a character's worth by their vocal portrayal, not their actions)
-She is stupid, and ugly, and a bitch who must die (this person said this across a few different posts).

That is like, the most atypical hate list you can make for an anime character. There is no thought or logical reasoning behind it. And when I asked for examples of her "wretched" behavior, she told me to just shut up.

And of course when she posts about Kikyo, it's literally nothing but "OMG I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE IS SO SWEET AND KIND AND BEAUTIFUL AND I LOOK UP TO HER SHE IS BEST CHARACTER KIKYOXINUYASHA FOREVER!!"

And let's not forget her biggest skreeonk of all time. Perhaps in all of InuYasha.

SHE STOLE A HUGE SHIKON JEWEL FROM KAGOME (it was like %40 of the entire jewel) AND GAVE IT TO NARAKU PERSONALLY.

Literally, she handed the "jewel of great hax" to the bad guy. Just up and gave it to him!

Why?

So when he pieced the whole thing back together, she could destroy both Naraku and the jewel at once.

Gee, nice plan Kikyo, except that he part where he got too strong for you to handle, and managed to skreeonk END YOU before you could act.

OOPS.

And what about all the lives lost in Naraku's pursuit of the other pieces!? Or how doing so allowed him to royally skreeonk over Inuyasha and crew? SEVERAL TIMES?!

She is directly responsible for the series being long and drawn out. FACT.

Y'know, I experienced the same thing, G2K. Only difference is that it was about That 70's show. A bunch of teenage girls would not shut up about how Hyde and Jackie were meant to be together. Their reasoning was "OMG so cuuuuuteeee. Jackie was able to change Hyde for the better!" I guess every fandom has people like that.
