Finally made some progress recording the second album for my doom metal project. Found a guitar tone that I consistently don't hate. :lol:

Woke up this morning to find that overnight my wife finished polishing the trailer for our entry in this year's Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project:

Necrotizer

I have an older demo version of the intro here if you want to take a listen. Since that bounce though, I've improved the drum quality and changed to the new guitar tone.

I'm not too thrilled about the first album, since I didn't have much to work with back in 2013 and it sounds like it. So I don't like sharing it. :lol: I'll be re-recording that one with some modifications after this album gets released.

That’s really cool but I wonder if we will ever get to actually see it in use by someone in a mainstream band.

Also, local gov thanked me for my help, and as a result is going to give me free Japanese translation classes in December, as well as take me out to dinner next week :)
Seriously greatful for that, as I’ve sortve been stuck at a really high intermediate level in Japanese, and while I’ve been rapidly improving, I need something like that to eventually do what I want to do.

Pre-ordered Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) on Blu-Ray at one of my local movie stores at the mall. So won't have to worry about copies being all sold out the day it releases on disc.
