The new store manager who got transferred to our store is fucking useless. If he's not walking around pretending to work, he's outside somewhere else or coming in for maybe 15-30 minutes to do next to nothing. Hell, the guy asked one of the assistant managers to come in early to show him how to open. How are you a store manager without knowing how to open?

I think you're misunderstanding the way people use the word in that context. It refers to literal spatial dimensions within our universe which are normally imperceptible to human beings. Those people/creatures functioning along those dimensions are, likewise, usually assumed to be unable to perceive the spatial dimensions along which we function.Gerdzerl wrote:When the term "dimension" is incorrectly used to refer to a parallel universe / parallel realm instead of how it's defined in math and physics.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

That's what I was actually referring to, though. What you just said is based on how the term "dimension" is defined in math and physics:eabaker wrote:I think you're misunderstanding the way people use the word in that context. Sorry for any confusion, I guess I worded that badly.

Eat healthier and work out. Everyone's different, but just changhing up a few meals and staying super active and building your muscles will do wonders. Hell I lost around 170 lbs in the span of a year doing that.godzillafan1954 wrote:Eating less and walking.Godzillian wrote:Well what have you been doing to try and loose weight?godzillafan1954 wrote:No matter what I do, I can't loose weight.

I don't think I expressed myself very well here. My point was that the use of "dimension" you're talking about - which in context often seems like it's being used as a synonym for "universe" or "realm" - is actually still rooted in the literal definition of the word.Gerdzerl wrote:That's what I was actually referring to, though. Of course, that could be me being very, very generous in my estimation of other people's intent.

Keep in mind that if you gain weight when working out that might not be fat but muscle since muscle weighs more than fat. Don't get discouraged, sometimes that extra weight is a good sign, not bad.godzillafan1954 wrote: Alright.
Hell I'm a twig but after working out I went from 129 pounds to 147 pounds.

It's pretty weird going from skin & bones to muscle & bones. Yeah even with the muscle mass my ribs still show.godzillafan1954 wrote: True.

No matter how much I ate I never gained a pound, only after working out. Been that way my whole life, skinny.F4ZaTE_X wrote:You should really get some help for that anorexia, bro.Living Corpse wrote:Hell I'm a twig but after working out I went from 129 pounds to 147 pounds.

Just like my dad. Saw the man put down around five grilled hamburgers, and about three hotdogs one 4th of July, and lost weight in the process.Living Corpse wrote:No matter how much I ate I never gained a pound, only after working out. Been that way my whole life, skinny.

What size? I can do 8 inch and very rarely 10 inch pizzas in one go if I'm hungry enough. 12 inch, hell no.Living Corpse wrote:I ate a whole pizza by myself once.
