Megaraptor was named because the hand claw was mistaken for a sickle claw, not because it looked like a dromaeosaur. It's either a basal tyrannosauroid (more likely I think) or an allosauroid.

I know it about the name and claw. But I read that it really amazed the scientist cause it supposed to be its physical similar to Velo

Don't trust every article you read. One article that claims something has ten others that contraindict it.

I know it. I don't believe in everything I read just because it is on internet. That's why I'm asking ^^

Oh, and in fact, no one answered it till now XD (just commenting)

Misread the original question, sorry. Megaraptor and its relatives are pretty poorly known, but it's likely that they followed an allosaur-like body structure, similar to Neovenator.

Possible baby dinosaur tail found preserved in Amber

If true, this confirms that baby dinos were adorable (or creepy, depending on the species) little fluff balls! :D

I'm surprised this hasn't been covered as much as I thought it would. We're not seeing mineralized bones or impressions made of rock. This is literally the actual tissue of a dinosaur that's older than 65 million years. That's pretty damn impressive.

Stupid question, but do you guys think think we can clone it. Or at least make a hybrid species.

Probably not as the DNA would of probably been broken down by then preserved in amber or not.

It really is. I'd go as far as to say this is one of the most amazing finds since 2010 when color pigments were identified in feathered dinosaurs. China's a gold mine for paleontology it seems.
