Here's this forum's DC Comics Thread. As before feel free to discuss anything related to DC Comics.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

Woot! for Comic Con announced series! We get a second Flash book with Flash: Speed Force (not counting the teased but not much talked about mini series Flashpoint) for next year, and Grant Morrison's new Batman series, Batman Inc., later this year.

I was worried when Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason were announced as the new creative team for Batman and Robin starting in November that Morrison was done with the Bat, but thankfully that's not the case.

In other random news, the new Young Justice animated series is to be set on Earth 16 of 52 in the DC Multiverse, and will feature Dick Grayson as Robin and Wally West as Kid Flash. :| Oh well, still really excited for the show!

Geoff John's entire run on the title, everything from Green Lantern: Rebirth to the present, currently publishing Brightest Day material.

From what I've read, I also enjoyed Judd Winick's run of the Kyle Rayner series.

I really have to say DC is the only company I really read in 2010. I am done with single issue comics and about 95% of all titles from here on out. I will snag the remaining Mon-El books and collect Doom Patrol in TPB when it comes out, but nothing else.

I was kicking around Walmart the other night, seeing what anti anxiety meds I could get over the counter and found DC Classics 75th Anniversay Trigon BAF....figures. So you got 1990s Superboy and 2000s Blue Beetle, Donna Troy, Cyclotron, Blue Devil, Cheetah and MY favorite...NEGATIVE MAN! WOOOOOO! The figure IMO is the jewel of the line. There are some rehashes out, like Nightwing (again...thats like the 3rd time?!)

NEGATIVE MAN from Wave 13 and ROBOTMAN from Wave 10 FTGDMFW BOY!!!

Does anyone like the comics from Vertigo Comics like Sandman, 100 Bullets, Lucifer, Preacher, and Y: The Last Man?

I've read preacher and I really liked it, espically what happens in the first part of the second graphic novel. Sandman is a book I've been meaning to read but I keep on forgetting which one is volume one and it's always getting checked out at my library! ):< Thats why I say skreeonk it and I'm going for the absolute edition!

Oh and me and waty are huge fans of Swamp thing... We DEMAND a DCUC Figure of him!!! D:<

@ Waty: Negative man huh? I've been meaning to check him out since he's got an awesome design. And is there a 90's/Modern Superboy variant?

And finally I'm happy with the news of the new line that contains... Jonah Hex!!! Course his head isn't as good as the DC Direct's one.

I have the DC Direct figure, Im good. :D

Negative Man classic looks like just Deadman ...except with bandages. How is that awesome? I like the modern one more. Dresses with Rorschach without the hat and mask, but with bandages

Superboy. No, just the faded buzz cut, shades and jack version from issue 1 - 80ish from his first series. I skipped it. I got the DC Direct Teen Titans figure. Im good. :D

Really? Did they announce that at Comic-Con? Any word on if it's live-action or animated?

I don't really follow Astro City, but if they made "The Nearness of You," that would be pretty epic.

Yes, it was announced at comic con this year.

I've been meaning to read Astro city but I keep on passing on it for some reason... I'm just not in the AC mood and I did read a few chapters.

I have not read DC comics for a while, but I was recenlty intrgued by what appeared to be a velociraptor in the Green Lantern corps. What is this character and what role does he have in the universe?

I meant Isamot when I said Gamot. Most of the GLC characters are forgetable to me..its Kyle, Sornak, Guy, Sodam, Arista, Salaak and Kilowog.
