^ LOL.

I have no real opinion in the matter, but one thing I would like to point out is that it is written/suggested in the Christian Bible that the Earth had existed before the time of Creation.

Genesis 1:2 (KJV) wrote:And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

So take that for what you will.

I don't believe the Earth was created 6,000 years ago either, and I know several religious people of several different beliefs who don't believe that. It should be common knowledge that there's notable scientific evidence saying otherwise.

I believe there is a God...but I'm unsure which section of Christianity is "correct."

I believe that Hell is not forever. Someone does their time and once redemption happens they are free.

Kinda like prison, cause I really find it silly that a god would send some one to a place of suffering forever but he loves you.

No I think it's just punishment that lasts for some time but ends eventually once you are...."cleansed" I guess.

Then again that's just me.

I believe all religions are wrong. I don't think we humans have the mental capacity to fully and correctly understand the concept of a higher being. That may be a pretentious statement, but it's what I believe. I mean, if you believe one religion is wrong, what makes you believe the one you might happen to believe in right? I'm well aware my statement could be dead wrong, but I'm ready to accept that. Then again, I'm only 19, so maybe I'm just going through the radical phase of thinking. :P

I don't really know what to believe in like is there a god, or a goddess ,or a ton of gods? Like the story of the Greek gods came before the Christan bible. There was probably a Jesus.
Like with one thing with evolution i don't really believe that we developed from monkeys. Was their really an Adam and Eve? Does everyone on Earth have a guardian angel? Did the amity vile horror really happen? Is there really a 400ft tall lizard at the bottom of the ocean? Is their a heaven or hell. I don't know. So basically im just keeping my mind open on all religious views.

We have bones and other fossils in Africa from 2 million years ago. So there is pretty much enough proof that Humans came from a genus of hominids.

Why do people have so much more dfficulty believing humans are products of evolution than they do for every other animal?

I have no freakin' clue how there are people who don't believe in Evolution. It's pretty much been proven. I'll support most religions. People are free to worship however they want as long as it's within reason. But why be so blind to something that's so damn obvious and can be proven by science?

I think it has to do with that people have believe in the same rules and laws for years, and people refuse to appect the facts. Even the proof is in front of your face.

No, that's not just you. One of my relatives (and the widow of a priest) said her belief was this: God is Love, so why would He punish his children forever? She thinks there are different levels of the afterlife where you work out your faults and sins, with what we think of as Hell being the ones farthest from God, and eventually as you improve you come closer and closer to God until you are cleansed and can be with Him.

Sorry if that didn't make any sense, but it's a hard theory to sum up in one sentence.

You're all fools.

As an Evolutionist, its is surprising people dont accept evolution...but, I see why they refuse to believe it. It certainly is devotion...devotion people lack nowadays.

Islam is the Spirit of Faith...its a shame to see the other religions die...
But I, that am not shaped for sportive tricks
Nor made to court an amorous looking-glass;
I, that am rudely stamped, and want love's majesty
To strut before a wanton ambling nymph.

Anyone else believe in the idea of that God is not supreme and that are forces might be greater then him? Just asking since I was in a debate with my friend of mine and talk about that most people believe in the theory of more then one god.
