Inspired by the G-Fan thread (one of the few remaining english print Magazines devoted to Japanese Sci-Fi). I was just curious to know if anyone knew, or has any of the older fanzines that seemed to circulate in the early 1990's, or any time before/after. I have/had 2 in particular:

A simple Xeroxed Fanzine, I cant even remember how I got it, but it provided lots of great info for a time prior to the Internet and to help spread the word to fans in North America that Godzilla movies were again being made in Japan. I tried to look for these in my home the opther day and cojudln't find them. I know I had at least 2 or 3 issues. Probably hastily thrown away years ago. I decision I regret if I cant find them.

This beautiful publication was sadly about a decade ahead of its time, and ended much too early with only 3 issues from 1990-1991. This was how I first found out about G vs. Biollante, renewed my interest in Godzilla, and made me feel as if I was on the cusp of all sci-fi news coming out of Japan (prior to the internet). This was the project of noted fan & author August Ragone and several others. The font was small, so you could tell they tried to pack as much as possible into every glossy page. Also each contained hundreds of small photos (most of which were B&W), but it was still a feast for the eyes. 20+ years later these are probably some of the most worn puclications I have, but I am glad I have them.
So... does anyone have any fond memories of any pre-internet fanzine that either generated new interest, or regenerated old interest in something believed to be left behind in childhood?
