For me its both the Soul Of Chogokin Gigan Final wars and the Soul Of Chogokin Kiryu 2003 version. Both are magnificent .

That I own? Easy:
It isn't even that this is the most "perfect" figure or anything, it just means a lot to me. It was my first Marmit, my first translucent, my first glitter, and my first $100+ figure purchase...

Re: Favorite Godzilla Figure? Bragging allowed!
Hmm, my favorite. That's a tough question. I've been collecting for over 11 years, and I've accumulated a lot - maybe not as much as some of the more experienced collectors, but a lot nonetheless.
If I had to pick favorites I'd go with figures that offer sentimental value such as:
My Ultimate GINO Figure, the biggest Godzilla figure I own, which I received from one of my Mom's coworkers when I was a kid along with a hoard of other GINO related items (T-Shirt, Cup holder, Vehicles, etc.) - the happiest moment of my childhood hands down.
Or the Hyper Godzilla 1964 (1999 Release). It may be a small figure, but it was given to me by a close girl friend (who've I had a crush on throughout high school) for my 16th birthday - much to my surprise. Of how I did not end up with her is beyond me!
The DX MechaGodzilla 2004 - When I was living in Denmark, I got to meet former Secretary of State Colin Powell at the US Embassy (where my parents worked) the same day I got this back in 2004. I even had the box with me when I shook his hand.
The X-Plus 25cm Gigan has grown to become a favorite of mine - it's my first X-Plus figure, and buying it was the first time I had to spend over $100 for a single figure.
Finally there is the Jumbo Godzilla 1991, which I consider one of my greatest and more surprising finds in person. I found it displayed in a collectors store in Singapore six years ago. I bought it alongside the Toy's Dream Project Godzilla '75 and Titanosaurus Box Set for a sweet deal just under $100. It was the first time I haggled for a figure(s) without my Dad's help - a great victory in my opinion.
Over time my favorite lists do change based on how much I value a figure over another.

Re: Favorite Godzilla Figure? Bragging allowed!
If I had to choose just one figure, it must be the black 4" Bandai "Big Scale Godzilla" (better known as the Hyper series) candy figure. I dunno quite why, but it has a lot of sentimentality for me (the third Godzilla figure I ever bought was the olive-colored version). If you keep score by the number of times an item gets picked it up off the shelf, it has to be my favorite
Runners up are my 1989 "Toho Eiga" bootleg, my Memorial Box 1984, and of course my Monsterarts Godzilla. They get picked up a lot too, just not as much

Nice figure! and is that a Hawaiian Gorosaurus in your avatar as well? I'd like to see more of vintage your collection, probably would be better posted in the Display your collection thread though.Planetxman wrote:http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5276/5910 ... 869ce9.jpg

On the topic at hand, I'll have to think about that one, I have quite a few that I like

Since I am new here, I cannot link up pictures. But my collection is on display on my FB page and also on Flikr. My avatar is a Hawaiian Spray Bullmark Godzilla and a Hawaiian Bullmark Gorosaurus.Nice figure! and is that a Hawaiian Gorosaurus in your avatar as well? I have been friends with Legion for roughly 17 years now and have done some nice trades recently since we both have some great stuff.

Honestly, my MA SpaceGodzilla and Y-MSF Megalon. SpaceGodzilla is just amazing, I can't praise it enough. Megalon is really cool, one of my favorite monsters. The Y-MSF feels a bit weird, but the details are really great, and the paint job is really good, except for one spot on the head, but it gives him a more realistic look to him.

The Super Premium Godzilla I own is one of my favorites because it's in such a large scale. I think my absolute favorite is probably the X-Plus Anguirus '68 figure in 30 cm scale.
