True. Ive not examined a Hedorah but I hear it sucks. Im not at all impressed by their Space Godzilla, GMK Goji and the GFW ones save Gigan.

G2K is more a mold favoring STE so it works in that aspect for me.

The GMK... is not very good. Probably my least favorite vinyl I own. On the other hand, I own their G2k and GMK Ghidorah and think they're pretty good. I'd like to get the Showa MG and Rainbow Mothra, too.

How do you 'sodomize' a plastic toy? I don't think that fits the dictionary definition.

BC Hedorah is pretty mediocre. A lot of people just whine 'oh, it has no articulation' which I find invalid since the Bandai Japan Hedorah can't move easily either - the arms look awkward if moved - but the figure really is pretty crappy. The seam is terribly noticeable, the sack on his back is completely missing and the top of the head is... it's so close, it's just a significant touch-up away from being decent.

The whole figure just has this feeling like it was two-thirds finished.

I bought it anyway because I wanted to say I had every BC available.

I feel like BC wasn't allowed to use the Bandai Japan sculpt as-is. So they chopped the original figure in half, glued it back together as half-assed as possible, melted it in the microwave for a few seconds and then threw it in a box, figuring it didn't matter because American Godzilla fans would buy anything anyway. What a joke.

The Bandai Creations Hedorah is FAR from the wirst kaiju toy ever. I can think of at least five examples off the top of my head that are worse. It's not even the worst BC figure.

Their 1997 Varan is pretty yucky as well. Thankfully their 2003 attempt went much better. You can actually recognize it as Varan!

This figure encourages me to want to make my own Godzilla Figures. Maybe we can start our own line of fan inspired Godzilla figures and call them Getto Fabulous Godzilla Creations! We can start be making a cheap standard header card, use a sandwich bag and the first figure can be a plastic rock from a dinosaur toy set, and we can call it "The other rock from Godzilla vs. King Kong."
