So did anyone pick this up? My copy came in the mail, fun read. The best part was of course Matt Frank's 'Godzilla vs. Gamera' piece. It also featured some articles on some old kaiju shows I had never heard of. There was also great stuff on Varan and Matango, now I really want to see those films. Cover....fantastic.

Shit, I went to Barnes and Noble earlier for my Skeptical Inquirer and Ellery Queen. I completely forgot to check for this.

Got mine in the mail earlier this week. Enjoyed the Godzilla vs Gamera piece and the Matango one. I'll have to watch Varan before I read Eggleton's piece on it, though. lol

I actually ordered a copy after seeing this thread. I just read it today. Highly enjoyable read. I really liked the Matango article. When I first saw that movie I didn't expect anything, but the movie totally blew me away!
What was last year's issue number? I may try and pick it up now.

#256. You can get it in a cool Bob Eggleton or Transformers 3 cover.
