NOT. This is actual a personal work of his, according to the man himself. Still an incredible shot, though. ;)

They may not be my favorite monsters, but that will be one badass cover.

Friday I got Vol. 3 of KOM TPB. After reading it, I think it would be nice if they would at least briefly bring up what's happened with Woods and Allie. Does he adopt her? Does the President give Woods a special assignment or post? Even if it would be a brief cameo.

I know a lot of people hated the series, but I really didn't mind it. Sure it had some stuff that I would change or didn't like, what doesn't? I've been thinking of going back and reading the entire arc now that I have all three volumes.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

You mean in the new series?

I doubt it.

They made mention about them not being major characters... Maybe cameos, and that's just a huge maybe. But that's about it.

Ther is not really something wrong with it, but it has been done many times now.
I want them to use something original and maybe use a giant mech as a last resort

Hey I dont know if its been talked about here and I'm sorry to say I'm not going to scan the thread to see if its been posted.
But
I was reading a Little bit about the promo panel for Godzilla Half Century War and the opening roar.

"There’s a lot of little nods to Godzilla and kaiju film tropes I’m trying to cram into the book; some are just visual (drills on everything!), some are part of the story. The second issue even has the first test firing of the Maser, which anybody who has seen a Godzilla movie will know barely ever works as intended. I got completely stumped trying to figure out what the sound effect for Godzilla’s trademark roar would be, so I looked up what it looked like run through an oscilloscope and just traced over that with some vague lettering. Godzilla has almost 60 years worth of movies, in different eras and with some radically different tones, so it’s great to pick through and try to figure out how to make those ideas work in a comic book."

Thats some pretty cool shit and a fresh alternative to SHREEONK

The dead animals in KOM are a result of high powered signals sent from aliens,to awaken the dormant monsters. Animals with similar senses are overloaded from the signal &drop dead. That way much of the world will be destroyed in prep for the invasion.

Well, it seems people can be wrong once in a while, eh? Then again, that was too suspicious to be merely fanart...
