Nice. I actually like the look of it, though I'm fond of most Showa MechaG figures.

^ I wasn't going to get it (like I mentioned earlier in this thread) but I'm a sucker for pilot ace and then when the opportunity arose, I reflexively bought it.

Now I got this one in the mail today (i've been spamming the FB group with my gigabrain ghidorah pics, but i'm going to sneak this one on here). This is my 2nd gigan but the colorway i'd never seen before anywhere so i bought it. Now i don't know if i'm going to keep it or sell it or trade or whatever so it's still in the bag

I don't like the leg pose...but after seeing it in person I like it a lot better than the pics I've seen on the internet. Now I need to track down a Rodan.

That Gigan looks beautiful, and that MG looks great.

Baaaahhhh.. If I didn't have so many projects planned, I'd like to get a nice pilot ace figure.

That's a lot of scratch, but it's a lot of figure, and this is the only one I see anywhere online for sale.

Sure thing! And thanks for posting more pics. This thing is so goddamn beautiful. I like this pic the most as it illustrates the superiority of the Pilot Ace when representing King Goji. Interesting to note that it's also bigger than the Gigabrain (I actually thought it was a bit smaller). I will someday own this figure.

Pilot Ace figures are really bulky, and they're made of thick, heavy vinyl. I love different things about different companies' stuff, but the Pilot Ace figures definitely have a uniquely appealing aesthetic.

I love that Mosu Goji, too. He looks like he's staring hunrily at a giant Mothra egg. Those Pilot Ace figures are awesome. Where did you track those beauties down? And have you ever run across the Harryhausen stuff?

I'll tell you guys where I'm getting them once I catch 'em all! ;)

I've never seen the Harryhausen stuff at all! But Leunames might have a clue--he seems even more adept at scoring these figures than I am.

Is Rodan high on your wants list? Because it's freakin' gorgeous. It's a real shame Pilot Ace went defunct. It's the only stylized Goji figure line that's better than Marmit, IMO.

These are the ones I have from the Harryhausen line. There was also a show exclusive release of the Cyclops I have on a canary yellow vinyl, Ymir release, and 2 horn Cyclops release. Some really beautiful sculpts from Pilot Ace/Beagle.

I think it's high on the want list of anyone who likes Pilot Ace. Many collectors who've been at it longer than I have are still looking for that one.

I wouldn't say they're better than Marmit, but I definitely love their stuff. They made great choices in characters to sculpt, too; it's too bad they couldn't pump out a few more major Showa kaiju.

@Kaiju no Mura
I meant that I hadn't seen them for sale, but thanks for the pics regardless!

Thanks Kaiju no Mura! Those are really beautiful! I'd rather have those Taros than a hyper realistic sculpt, believe it or not! The blue Taro is unusual, but VERY cool.
