Exactly! They manage to incorporate a very difficult mix of screen accuracy and vinyl charm, something that takes skill and craft to pull off. Can't wait 'til I get mine!

Somehow that actually looks way worth the 200+ dollar price tag. Not as stylized as the normal Marmit or Pilot Ace Ghidorahs, yet just chubby and uniquely colored enough to fit in with the others. Honestly, if I could divert the scratch I would get one to go with my Marmit Godzilla 1964. I feel like these thongs are gonna coattails a kidney on the after market.

Auto-correct? PFFFT

And yeah, they are. I'm keeping my eyes out for a lucky break, but... I'm going to start saving for the next release (God[zilla] willing) just in case.

God I hate my auto correct. It turns words like Sanda and Gaira into Sands and Fairs. Yet it cant throw an apostrophe into the word cant.

As for the next release... I actually find the orange variant to be attractive as well.

That's kinda how I feel. I like this figure, its great, but it doesn't suit my needs right now. I liked the color scheme much more in the older photos of it, but seeing it not all professional like kinda changes my mind a bit.

This one just doesn't strike that spot with me, ya know?

Now, if a black color scheme one comes out... ALLLLLLL of my money.

ebirahsmeg needs to take more photos without a flash. I think the flash in those pictures is taking a lot away from the toy. Even he admits that.

Great pics. I just pulled out my pilot ace kg and a gigabrain mosu goji next to the monitor to compare scale references...looks like the pilot ace is the larger of the two by a little bit. However the Gigabrain's wings are appropriately huge.

All in all looks like a killer figure. And what's this about a black variant? i'll def be picking that up as well then!

THAT.... THING.... IS..... AWESOME.

I really, really, really wish I could afford figures like this - and it frustrates me to think the price will only raise with time.

(I'm also glad to see GB "fixed" Ghidorah's size; THIS is how big he should have been in the 60's.)

I think we might as well call 2012 the year of the accurately-scaled-Ghidorah.

That;s a pretty sweet Ghidorah. Unfortunately it will be a $1000 or so in Singapore shops. Goodness kmows what what-a-day will price it for ($3000 I'm guessing).

Thanks for the photos! And congratulations on a great score.

Got the shipping notice on mine, so it (and the Monster Heaven KG riding with it) should be here by Friday. Counting the minutes...

And I still want to get the Pilot Ace KG, too...

Wow, that sounds like a major haul! Trust me, you will be blown away by the GB. Look forward to seeing your pics when you get it. What variant of the Marmit KG did you get? Never been a big fan of the MH KG, but some of the variants are interesting...

Don't forget there is also a glow in a dark-orange-ish variant coming out as well (not sure when), and it has different head sculpts (the mouths are closed). I am sure we'll see quite a few variants that GB is well known for as this year progresses.

Whenever you do get this figure, please pose it next to the Pilot Ace for comparison's sake :)

I'll see what I can do later this week. Photography has never been one of my strengths, but I'll do my best and leave the flash off the next go around.

By the way, have you ordered this yet Legion? If so, then I will leave it to you write "Part 9" of the GB report

Now Gigabrain needs to make Anguirus, Titanosaurus, and Gorosaurus. Preferably in that order.

Angy and Titano already have excellent MMHs. I'm actually hoping Spacegodzilla. He's just a character screaming to be stylized, and his marmit was atrocious. Since Gigabrain did Monster X I'd say this isn't reaching too far.

Of course. But I went through a middleman, sort of. So it's going to take a while before I actually get mine.

Primal, I'm pretty sure Monster X only got made because there wasn't one in the MMH series. It's hard to predict what Gigabrain is going to do. Unfortunately, since it was several years between the releases of Hedora and King Ghidora, it might be a long time before we see something else.

I'd still like to see new ones. Plus it would make them easier to obtain. Hell, Marmit should just rerelease those figures.

Spacegodzilla would be cool, though.

It's difficult to figure Marmit out. As far as new figures go, right now they're focusing on Heisei and Millennium monsters, and have been for several years.

Agreed....the MH figures of showa Angilas and Titanosaurus were excellent. Of course, I would love it if GB covered them...but I'd much rather seem them cover a rarer character like Gabara, who has never had a decent 8-9 inch scale figure. Of course, I wouldn't mind seeing them do SG, as the Marmit MH SG is hand downs one of the ugliest figures I've ever seen and screams for a redo. As Legion pointed out, Gigabrain is hard to predict in terms of what they will produce. As thrilled as I am about this KG figure, I am also a little sad as well, as this will most likely be the last GB figure we'll see for awhile...

Marmit has also slowed down their production of new G-related figures considerably (not counting their reissued variants). I think Orga was their first "real" new figure produced in almost a year). I am really surprised that Marmit has not made a MH heisei Mogera figure yet...honestly, at this point, I will be happy just as long as Marmit stops producing crappy heisei Godzilla figures (their MH Godzilla 91 and G93 figures were especially atrocious...)

Captain Aktion wrote:Eh...What's with the silver ring around the necks? Looks like crappy painting to me...pass. And if all Pilot Ace figures are going to cost this much and be such a hassle to get...Well, I dunno if I see any future in this line. I mean, it's not that accurate, the price is through the roof for what it is, and I mean, c'mon, if you have a Marmit Ghidorah, what do you need this for? I really don't understand. Sure, it's great for what it IS but some other figures are also great for what they ARE. I'm still waiting on an updated Showa Ghidorah from Bandai and they seem like total ass*oles that don't want to give ME what I WANT so they're TOTALLY clueless as to what the market wants. Seriously, if I don't want it, nobody does, right? Let's start talking sh*t about it, 'cause that's productive.

That's just my opinon; that the GB Ghidorah is worth, what? 5 Y-MSF rocks, right? Pfft, there's way more vintage Ghidorah's for me to get a boner off of than this...this simulacrum of a toy. Seriously, some people that CLAIM to be fans and collectors really don't know what they're talking about if they're seriously loving this. WOOO, it's a copy of the Parababy Ghidorah but 4 inches taller...WOOO.

That push some buttons? This type of comment certainly wouldn't be out of place in the Monsterarts thread, so it must be cool in this instance, right?
