Oh, I'm so sorry for expressing my appreciation of the Gigabrain and Marmit figures in these "Spotlight"- and "Appreciation"-threads - even if I'm not able (or not willing, due to financial reasons) to get actively into them and therefore HAVE to stay with BANDAI's. Be happy, that I'm too poor to snatch up these things, feel free to buy what I won't (although I would do it, if named reasons were non-existent on my side) and feel cool for the rest of the day. You can rest assured that I won't show appreciation of something others love and collect - but that I simply can't afford while still liking it - on here again.

Flamewars involve everybody who's reading through these forums, isn't it? It's personal debates that nobody really wants to read in a topic discussion. So what's wrong about expressing the feeling to the "flamers" that not only the mod is sick of it, but other regular members might be too? But, oh well, you just did again what I criticised in my "forbidden" previous post, which you're referring to. And I do it even again, by answering to you now. Well, it seems quite hard to avoid it. And that's why I now end this all new flame debate. At least for myself. You may continue alone if you wish to do so ~

Now, I KNOW I told you guys to get on-topic. Next spam/personal debate post gets a warning.

I posted this in another thread, but this is the Kingoji I'm getting in with my Gold Ghidorah.

I think GB was in the mood for purple at the start of 2012, as they released this variant along with a purple Gigan variant back in January. Not really crazy about this paint scheme...but honestly, the GB Kingoji figure kicks so much ass that even if it were pink with yellow polka-dots, it would still rule the world  Be sure to post pics when you get it...

Brilliant...I'm willing to bet this would be an incredible match for the black GB Ghidorah.

Well, someone finally bought it; I was wondering how long it would take. There was a GB Ghidorah for sale on Clawmark for $350. It didn't last long...

This is a very nice collection of photos from a GB collector from the CT forums (canofhumdingers) who has some really interesting/unique variants in his GB collection that really sets it apart from most regular GB collections:

That's a really striking Gigan you got there, Cimmy.

That GB 64 variant looks like it's a Popy color scheme, but with added gold highlights. Very, very cool, CD.

It's the Black/Blue release Legion already posted pics of. Definitely my favorite Gigan color scheme out of any stylized figure.

Stylized my ass CD. That Gigan resembles the character more than the 6 inch Bandai could ever hope to.

Shhhhh....! You'll make the Big B angry!

But I was primarily basing the 'stylized' classification on the non-standard color scheme. I do agree that it's a phenomenally accurate sculpt.

I dunno, the Theatre Exclusives and CCP's Artistic Monster Collections do have zany color schemes but I'm not sure if most of them are stylized.

But yeah, the GB Gigan looks awesome.

Let's just agree that the paint jobs are stylized. I've just always sort-of lumped any toy that isn't making an attempt at accuracy in a separate group from the figures that do. Not a big deal either way.

Yeah you're right. The sculptures is realistic yet the paint makes it stylized.

Why, is there a law saying you can't own both?

I love your photo Jomei...Such a happy family :D I really wish the majority of my collection wasn't back in the states, as I would love to take a group photo of my GB collection (I have all the figures except for Hedorah...and I am sure I will cave in and get that someday as well).

By the way, hope you don't get pissed Legion, but I am posting the very cool photo you took of your GB figures together which you posted awhile ago on the CT forums...I love this photo! :)

Oh yeah, I don't have Zone Fighter either...no real desire to be honest (not a big fan of the character at all...but if I run across him in Tokyo/Akiba and the price is right, I will likely snatch him up for completionist's sake...)
