Considering the 30cm Goro is already out, I'm assuming that's the 25cm prototype shown with his 25cm buddies.

I may just get G'68 and Gorosaurus as my first X-plus figures. I would just like to see Goro's final sculpt.

That Xplus Gorosaurus, despite being unpainted, looks amazing. Has a pre-order date been announced yet?

I also have a hunch that they'll most likely be releasing Titanosaurus in the 25 cm scale down the road as well.

X-Plus is releasing the mate for this monster, as they're doing later this month for Shimonsu. Click the below link to see the prototype...

No one has commented on the Minya. I think that's one of the better looking Minya's apart from the earlier X-Plus and Y-MSF offerings.

I kind of prefer the earlier version from the 30cm line.
I don't know why, but for me, this Minya's face is kind of off.

Brad, I've waited in silence long enough. Where are those Kiryu comparison pics!! I am a big fan of the normal version that I got and that Hesei posted pics of over at Gforever. But I'd love to see the backpack version in more detail.

And my quick review, The Mogera is good, great detail, pose and , but the "assembly" is a little rough. I had to reglue the upper chest to the lower torso. Also the paint has gaps at the back saw seams. Great figure, sloppy qc.

Varan has some bubbles in the clear vinyl spines, but these are easially forgivable. The more I look at it, the more I fall in love. I've always had an affinity for Varan because of how hard it is to get ahold of him in any form (media or toy haha). This figure rocks.

Yeah, the Varan figure is pretty great. One of the best in my collection in my opinion.

I just bought the Toho Large Monsters Series Mothra 1961 off of Amiami as a Birthday Present to myself... like I don't treat myself enough! XD

I too have been wondering if anyone has received Kiryu yet. I really want to see photos of the final product regardless if its the online version or not. Hahahaha

I got the normal edition and have no complaints. Sharp details, maybe the paint could have been a bit more gloss? Its also slightly asymmetrical in pose, something that would only bother a anal fool like me. Im just wondering if I lucked out or missed the boat by passing on battle mode. I think the high mobility look is just classier, but id like to see the other.

Also, did you realize there are now 4 Minya figures in the series? They better not do a DAM set in 25cm because I will never have the Minya, its not worth getting the internet version for him.

Hello fellow x-plus maniacs.
Names jim,I'm a Scorpio,43, I like long walks on the beach,sunsets,and....oops sorry wrong type of forum. Anyway I've been a life long kaiju fan. My first kaijueiga I remember seeing was either monster zero or voyage into space, can't pin that one down. First G figure I had was the Aurora Godzilla w/glo in the dark fins. My second was bandai G62 back in '84 or '85. My 3rd was the bandai '84 G in 1988.
In '91 I discovered a store called pony toy go around in little Tokyo in LA. The first time I went up that escalator and turned to the right and saw what was undiscribable at the time. Let me just ask, have any of you ever been so excited that you experienced shortness of breath and a instant urge to urinate. Weird I know, but I did. I think I finally found my magic (toho) kingdom. Needless to say I bought every 8"bandai in the godzilla, gamera line. Even a few ultra's also.
A year or so after that I went to a fangoria convention & discovered vinyl model kits. My first one was the billikin G'92. IMO I think its a better sculpt than the newest x-plus '92.
Now that brings me up to my x-plus collection. So glad I found like minded guys and I believe we also have a lady amongst this forum!?,To talk to about of passion for these pieces of art. I look forward to having conversations and sharing our experience in this fantastic hobby. As of now I have in my 25cm x-plus collection:'84G,'64,'67G,'71G,'73g

Oops, sorry about that I wasn't done with my last post. I hit send before I was done. Anyway, the rest of my 25cm x-plus collection:Gigan, baragon, Aron, '74MG,& waiting on my '68G & angillas. For my 30cm collection:'74MG,& varan. Waiting on my titanosaurs.
To Gcrusher:they have put out some really great looking sculpts. I'll try to post some up. I don't have a p.c. & I do all my stuff with my phone so we'll see if I'm able to do it. I also have a guilala in the 30cm range but I can't remember if it's from x-plus or not. It doesn't say it on the foot that I can see

Welcome Jim! Yes, X-Plus did do a Guilala (I think it was 30cm). :-)

If you're on Facebook, you may want to check out the group I have there... it's X-Plus Kaiju Vinyl Series. Some of the people who come to this thread also are members of that closed group. It tends to be a bit more active than the thread here, although this thread is pretty active.
