Really? My order was $306 shipped. But yeah, like you said, I wasn't thrilled about the price but I was satisfied at least. Hard to find them anywhere else. I will say that once you have it, you won't be disappointed. One of the best X-Plus releases out there in my opinion.

I found an X-Plus 25cm Godzilla 1989 for a decent price I might pick up. Anyone have any thoughts on this figure? I think it looks alright but the mouth paint seems a little bright. But I figure I should probably get it to go with my Biollante.

Also if anyone wants to buy a 30cm X-Plus Mothra Larvae (opened) for a decent price, I know someone who is selling. Let me know if you're interested.

Tax was the price difference. I'm in CA so there was tax.

For us completionists its nice!

A month off to gear up for a serious summer run is fine with me.

Brad didn't you buy 2 kiryus! Any announcement would be brutal haha!

I still can't believe I bought 1 Kiryu. I'm okay with no new announcements. My wallet could always use a break.

Yeah, two. I'm still in disbelief myself. It'll be nice to have both versions though and I have a suspicion that the Internet Exclusive is going to be hard to find after the fact (and expensive) because of the already high price, so I better just secure one now.

I think the internet exclusive is expensive now, as is. I've seen it on Ebay go for over a grand.
I love Kiryu, but that is seriously one (both Internet variant and normal) figure that I can live without.

Plus the fact that it's resin has kind of turned me away from it. I just know that if I hypothetically got it, I would eventually break it by accident one way or another.

Finally an update on the X-Plus site, though only more pictures of the 30cm G and the new Kiryu pictures posed with the '02 G.

I received my 25cm Mechagodzilla this morning. He took his place next to his big brother in the display cabinet!

Yeah I bought the 30cm 2003 Goji recently just so he could be next to Kiryu when he comes out.

GCrusher - so do you like the 30cm or the 25cm better? Also you should take a close-up of the alien.

Sorry, but the picture isn't too clear as i snapped it with my iPhone 3G!

I like both MechaG figures, and would wager that if one was to own either one, they'd be happy with that figure.
I picked up both scales to pose with King Seesar when released, in either scale, and because the Mechagodzilla figures are my favorite in the Godzilla universe.
I like the Kiryu, but haven't ordered it up because it's resin. I have a resin Anguirus, and even though I was careful, I broke a couple spikes moving it.
I would be pretty disappointed if X-Plus didn't release a Kiryu in vinyl.

You make me worry with those comments about your previous resin statue. I've never had a big piece of resin, so this will be a first. I guess I'll just have to find out and see if I like it or not. But sheesh, what an expensive way to find out!

On another note, my 64G w/larvas came today and I have to give Anime Jungle some credit for their packaging and shipping. The item was sealed in plastic and layers of cardboard, and they didn't mark up their shipping like some places will.
A+ job!

Baaaah, something about that '55 suit gets me every time. Uugly, but I love it.

I had a though. I posted this in the facebook group, but I have a feeling a few people here might not belong to it.

30 CM Burning Godzilla. Some translucent vinyl. And it lights up.

So what was the out-the-door-final-price?

A. 601-700
B. 701-800
C. The sum of the number of times Godzilla kicked Baragon in the gravel pits!

LOL! Well, actually, I think the answer will be "A" eventually. This is just the charge from X-Plus but I still have to deal with Tenso.com when my product is mailed to them via my "Japanese address". I have no idea what they're going to charge, since it's my first time dealing with them. The damage so far is $565.

Hey I just won the 30cm '61 X-Plus Mothra from KofMonster on eBay for only $122 and free shipping. One of my better scores lately! Too bad it's not the adult Mothra in the 30cm scale. Whine, whine.. I know :-x
