Yes. I've ordered both MonsterArts web exclusives from there, both shipped in a reasonable time frame.

Can you hook a brother up with any of those coupon codes?

I had to pay for Fire Rodan some way... Sorry! I do believe they are one per person.

I don't have the code anymore, anyway. I deleted the email.

hey quick question for all the hobby search users, when you preorder an item from them do they charge your card right when you preorder, or when they get it in stock?

Alright, I pre-ordered that godly awful expensive Kiryu. I feel like I'm like the girl inside Kiryu now all pissed off and screaming "KIRRRYUUUUUUU!!!!" - But damn. Hopefully I should never need another Kiryu figure now.

How's that 25cm Goji 1964? Pretty dope/accurate? Missed out on getting him when he was available, but now I'm thinking of getting him to go with my pre-ordered Mothra. He's not too bad on ebay.

^Lucky you! I would've reserved Kiryu if it weren't for it being way out of my price range.
It's an incredible looking figure in my opinion, but it'll be one of those figures, like the X-Plus Biollante, that I would have to admire from the pictures.

While I'm happy as heck that X-Plus is releasing great figures at a good clip, I find myself kicking myself for not picking up some of the earlier figures.
I have the 30cm G64, so i figure that I don't need the 25cm Large Monster Series G64. Then they release a Large Monster Series 64 Mothra after the G64 of that scale sells out, which obviously will look great displayed with the 25cm G64.
WTFreak! I wish X-Plus would tell us their plans so we can plan accordingly. As it is now, I'm afraid not to buy one of the 25cm and 30cm figures for fear that I'll need it to display it with another thats just around the corner.
Looking back I should've boughten the 25cm Jet Jaguar instead of holding out for a 30cm version, that doesn't appear to be coming.
Looking back I should've held off on the 25cm 55G and Anguirus, as the 30cm versions were released just months later.
I guess thats what eBay is for, to buy what you missed and sell what you no longer need ;-(

You can still get a 25cm Jet Jaguar here if you're interested: http://www.yesasia.com/us/big-monsters- ... /info.html

I'm not even a huge Jet Jaguar fan, but I just ordered one since I know they're pretty rare to find at a decent price.

If you have any X-Plus figures you don't want, PM me if you want to work out any deals. Personally I have a 30cm 92 Goji and 74 MechaG I don't want anymore.

Thanks for the lead on JJ. Yes Asia lists that it qualifies for free shipping, so DK was the out-the-door price $199?
That's only about a $75 diff than if I had one shipped from Hobby Search when it was available.
I'm not a huge Jet Jaguar fan either, but have the other 3 X-Plus figures that are represented in the Megalon film and need him to complete the display.
The listing states that it usually ships within 30 days. Are you still waiting for yours or have you received him yet?
Thanks for the help!

The final price was $195.99 shipped. I just placed my order so yeah I'm still waiting for mine.

I've ordered music and stuff from yesasia before, so they're legit. I'm sure it'll ship way before 30days, they just use that to cover themselves.

The $200 for JJ is looking OK right now, cuz the big guy is getting his *ss handed to him in the display I set up and he needs some help!

OK, so I just ordered Jet Jaguar from YesAsia.com minutes ago, for 192.99 with free standard shipping. I used a coupon code NEWTWITTER3 for $3 off the order of 195.99
Originally Hobby Search sold Jet Jaguar for $110 plus $20 for cheap shipping. So 193-130=$63 mark up. Not a terrible difference.

X-Plus is killing me this month. Here's a cost breakdown of what I've had to shell out to own some of these figures! And I had to pay $64 to ship the Rodan from Japan to CA.!

0521 Gorosaurus 30cm, 67 original release
0262 Rodan 30cm
0199 Gigan 30cm, 72 original release
0193 Jet Jaguar 25cm
0132 Mechagodzilla 25cm
0129 Gigan 25cm
------
1436.00

And I still have the 25cm Mothra and 30cm 89G on order with Hobby Search!

And.. on top of all that I owe Brad a Subway $5 footlong because X-Plus went with the American spelling of Rodan on the box after they initially listed the figure as Radon - WTF!!
Brad, would you give me a chance to go double or nothing on another bet?

LOL!! You're killin' me Smalls! Sure, double or nothing. What should we bet on next? This is fun. :-)

You forgot Kiryu! You gonna get him?? He'll be another $600-$650. :(

Sorry, I don't collect resin figures. Too fragile. My Anquirus resin from a diorama where he's posed with G has broken spikes off his back. :?

speaking of Kiryu, painted pics are up on Hobby Search. I gotta say, I prefer the High Mobility Type, and thats not just the $200 in savings talking...

@GCrusher: Where in CA do you live? Anywhere near SD? Also where did you score that Gorosaurus? I was going to ask if it was an original issue...I still prefer it to the reissue colors, and I definitely want the box to complete my set. A great score for that price if you ask me...what was the condition on it? And major score on the Gigan 30cm; a fraction of what I paid this late in the game? Impressive.

@Drunken Kong & GCrusher: A word on JJ, he will complete your set and is a damn nice figure, but IMHO is the biggest rip-off in the X-Plus series. We get discounts on guys like Manda and Minya in the 30cm line, but I swear to God that nothing took less vinyl to make than Jet Jaguar and he was the same price as all the other 25cms. Dammed unfair if you ask me. But it will be nice to have the Megalon set; I do love the Gigan and only kind of wish he was the 73 version...I think the 25cm might even beat out the 30cm in this case (also feel that way about the MG 74).

And finally, a plea to leunames or anyone else who reads this thread...my Kingdom for an Anguirus! While I would like an original Goro if I could move my reissue I am getting extremely desperate for a Angy 68 30cm! The only sculpt I am missing from my X-Plus set!

Sorry for the rant...making up for my lack of posts in recent months.

Well the Goro he bought from me. Brand new!

Anguirus is a tough find if only because it's the only early x-plus release that hasn't been reissued in some form or another. I'll keep a lookout for one

And to those who have been asking about the 25cm Mosu-goji...my contact said he sold all his stock (exclusive and standard) last week...sorry fellas

That's too bad...thanks for asking though man.

Also, I'm ready for some more 90s X-Plus stuff. Give me an X-Plus SpaceGodzilla.
