but..

is there any word if a godzilla 1962(king-goji) is in the works for the large monster series.... a 30cm version has been released but that would be too big and out of scale for me :P

I like the 30 cm 1968 Godzilla the best.

No word yet on a 25cm version of the 1962 Godzilla BUT they are coming out with a 1968 25cm version, so anything is possible down the road I'm sure. May happen eventually. ;-)

I just got my 30cm Godzilla 1989 in the last hour or so.

It was a SKREEONK to put together. Those tail piece sections just didn't want to agree with me! But I managed to get it assembled, and the figure is pretty great. I love the articulated jaw, a nice touch if you ask me.

You did use a blowdryer to heat up the plast area that you were trying to assemble, right?

Of course. But still, it was still a tad bit challenging even with the vinyl softened.
Despite that, it was worth it. The figure looks wonderful.

I also did a comparison shot with Godzilla '89 and Rodan '64.

I'm considering parting with an original 30cm 1968 Godzilla to help pay for (or trade for) a Titano. Any takers?

To quote Mr. Plinkett from Red Letter Media: "Oh my God, what's wrong with your face???!!!" This Godzilla's face, like many Xplus figures, just seems off and doesn't look like anything seen in the films.

Anyways...any news/pics yet of the 25 cm G68/Angilas 68 figures?

So far nothing on the G68 / Anguirus 68 figures yet. I'm expecting that we see prototype images and reservations come up by the end of this week... I hope.

Yeah it doesn't look a whole lot like the 1989 face specifically. Additionally, I can't stand the bright teeth and the strong red/pink tongues these Godzilla figures keep ending up with. Just doesn't look right.

Personally I think Godzilla 89 looks terrific. X Plus figures started out great and the detail has only gotten better with time, in my opinion.
