^ Eh, the toys weren't totally generic. I've actually noticed very few dinosaur toys seem to have articulation and from the reviews I've read, Trendmasters' dinosaurs, while unrealistic, had a lot of articulation and were fun little things :P
I used to be a lot more optimistic and outgoing, believe it or not. I used to actually be passionate about this stuff.

You're lucky to have Varan cause he's one rare figure if he came with the card he's alot rare loose or new he's very tough to get I'm still keeping my eye out for him. As for commercials the only one I'm able to find is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7aTg-A4Y5I

I'd recommend scanning each and putting them up before you sell them since I remember quite a few people didn't even know what some of the cards said.

As for all the TM Gamera questions, and comments, as far as I know, from the TM dealer catalogs and paper work I have showing the Gamera line, that's apparently all that was released, but you just never know for sure...

Here's 2 scans I put together showing 'part' of the product info I mentioned on this line:

http://ph59.free.fr/js/gam1.jpg
http://ph59.free.fr/js/gam2.jpg (closeup of Gamera page)

The first Gamera scan shows the set without sound. I have another 6 sheets for the ones WITH sound, which are not shown here.

And here is a photo of my Gamera resin proto paint master samples used at Toy Fair of that year:
http://ph59.free.fr/js/gamerapaintmasters.jpg

Unfortunately that is all I have on Guilon... and he is my favorite, go figure. He is missing 3 limbs and his tail, and ironically enough is resting on one of Jiger's arms. I always preferred these types of protos better, if they were used at Toy Fair or something like that, as paint master samples... Better details and plain to see the colors are quite different, (and BTW, the Gyaos is not that red. It has more of a dirty rust color, but the contrast in photoshop to bring out the colors better, turned him more red then he really is).

Here's a better photo of it's true color, in with one of my Doom Island MegaMutation 6" Destroyahs, and an unreleased "DRIX" Osmosis Jones proto along with a Shadow Raiders/War Planets unreleased 12" Cryos proto:

I saw those on ebay not too long ago every Gamera Trendmaster figures were in their box. If they pop up on ebay better keep an out look for them I think the figures are rare than the Godzilla lines. Where I live we never had Gamera only Godzilla.

Whatever you saw, Hellblaze, they were the boxed or carded figures and not these same prototypes I just showed photos of... these particular figures were never on eBay.

Here's a shot of my 2 Doom Island Megamutation Destroyahs:

http://ph59.free.fr/js/destroyahs.jpg

The paint job is slightly different on each, and one has unpainted eyes and the other has a light/lim green colored eyes.
